In today’s news, Germany contributes to humanitarian assistance in Niger, United Nations report calls for better treatment of animals, California, United States, to require all trucks to be emission-free, sustainable aviation fuel project commences in United Kingdom, Japanese schoolchildren make protective gear for frontline workers, more vegan options available in Spain, and baby sea turtles make their way to the ocean in Australia.

Germany helps Niger strengthen citizens’ resilience.

Germany, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion and a Shining World Caring Leadership Award laureate, has contributed an additional €24 million to the United Nations World Food Programme to help Niger in continuing to assist its vulnerable population in rural and urban communities in the wake of COVID-19. Besides supporting food security, the funding will be used to assist the health and education of people in these areas to facilitate livelihoods and assets. It will also aid in improving technical services to ensure inclusive, proficient and accountable services nationwide. Our gratitude, Germany, for your caring spirit and ongoing help to brothers and sisters in Niger. Many thanks also, World Food Programme, for your dedication to the well-being of others. May all those in need thrive in Heaven’s infinite blessings!

Increased exploitation of wildlife cited as key factor of global outbreaks in UN report.

In a new report entitled, “Preventing the Next Pandemic - Zoonotic diseases and how to break the chain of transmission,” the United Nations Environment Programme has presented seven major drivers of zoonotic disease emergence, which are mostly linked to increasing consumption of livestock and wild animal products. In particular, the drivers include rapidly rising meat, dairy and egg production; poor conditions of intensified livestock factory farms; growing exploitation of wildlife; deforestation for livestock rearing; increasing handling, transport and trade of animals and their products; expanding wildlife markets as well as crowded industrial meat processing plants. Given that zoonotic diseases involve and affect human, animal and environmental health, the 82-page report asserted that a “One Health” approach that integrates public health, veterinary and environmental expertise is required to prevent and address future pandemics. Our sincere appreciation for this important report, United Nations Environment Programme. To protect all life on Earth, may world governments immediately ban the consumption of all animal products and switch to a vegan food system, in Divine wisdom.

Up next, California, United States, to require all trucks to be emission-free. We are going to pause to thank pulmonologists, doctors who specialize in treating conditions of our vital respiratory system. We’ll be right back, with more assuring news on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, charming viewers, I’m Sugar the vegan Speke’s Gazelle. You can be the change you are waiting to see. Just go vegan – for yourself, the animals and the planet! As you know, frequent hand washing is one of the best ways to help prevent the spread of illnesses such as the coronavirus. But, if you have to use alcohol-based hand sanitizer to clean your hands, please note the following reminders:

  1. During use, ensure that the hand sanitizer is below the eye level, and close your eyes when pressing the hand sanitizer nozzle and rubbing your hands. The aerosols released from the sanitizer can cause eye discomfort.
  2. Use in ventilated rooms.
  3. Avoid excessive use. Frequent and overuse may cause irritation to the skin, and to the eyes due to more aerosol exposure.
  4. Keep it out of reach of children and pets; children should use it under adult supervision.

Thank you for watching, and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

California, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Compassion laureate, mandates zero-emission trucks.

The state of California has passed the Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) Regulation, which requires that, starting in 2024, Zero-emission trucks must constitute between 30 to 50% of manufacturers’ sales, 40 to 75% by 2035 and 100% by 2045. The California Air Resources Board, a government agency in charge of protecting the public from air pollution, unanimously approved the rule as a way to ensure the state meets its stringent goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2035 and 80% by 2050. California Governor the Honorable Gavin Newsom, a Shining World Leadership Award for Loving Care laureate, said, “California is once again leading the nation… to make our air cleaner, becoming the first place in the world to mandate zero-emission trucks by 2045.” Our accolades, the Honorable Gavin Newsom and California! You are making way for a future in harmony with the natural world, in God’s radiance.

British venture to create jet fuel from waste.

A collaboration between United Kingdom flag-carrier airline British Airways, sustainable fuel company Velocys, based in the UK, and United States and UK-headquartered Shell International Petroleum Company will see the creation of a waste-to-jet-fuel plant in Immingham, England, UK. The facility will convert hundreds of thousands of metric tons of non-recyclable waste, which would otherwise have ended up as incineration or landfill, into jet-fuel each year. This fuel will generate 90% less particulate matter and almost 100% less sulfur oxides than regular jet fuel, in addition to a 70% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Construction of the fuel plant is expected to begin in 2022, and be completed by 2025. Hats off, British Airways, Velocys and Shell International Petroleum Company. In the grace of the Providence, may more companies soon follow your model of reusing resources to preserve our treasured planetary home.

Japanese children show love for medical workers during COVID -19 school shutdown.

When sixth-grader Sakura Kumasaka heard of the dire need frontline medical staff had for face shields, she and her mother Machiko started making the protective equipment. Using easy-to-access and inexpensive materials, in five days the mother-daughter duo produced 120 shields and took them to a hospital. As they realized more were needed, they reached out to Sakura’s classmates with a tutorial video they created on making the shields. Eventually, some 100 people participated in the “Kids’ Shield Support” project. Caring messages such as “Thank you for saving lives” and “We’re supporting you from home” were also included. The team has made about 3,800 shields, which have been given to 20 hospitals and local governments. Such a wonderful project, and Divine blessings, Machiko and Sakura Kumasaka, as well as all participating in “Kids’ Shield Support.” During a time of uncertainty, your kindness toward medical workers is a ray of love from Heaven into our lives.

Coming up, more vegan options available in Spain. It’s time for us to read some inspiring quotes by wise people that can motivate us in trying times. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more brightening news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Exciting News for a Lively World.

Spanish meat company launches vegan burger.

Madrid-headquartered Campofrío has introduced the Magic Burger as the first vegan product of its Vegalia range, which contains meat-free items. Given the V-Label (vegan) Certification, the new burgers were created after months of research, and are made of ingredients including mushroom, soy, and pea. They can be found in Eroski supermarkets throughout Spain, and later will be distributed in more stores. Campofrío is one of many meat companies around the world that has been moving toward producing more plant-based alternatives in recent years in order to adapt to the fast-paced change of consumer demands. Such joyous news for the people and animals of grand Spain. May delectable plant-based items help in the global adoption of veganism so our gentle co-inhabitants can live happily and in peace, in God’s benevolent embrace.

Baby sea turtles make their way to the ocean in Australia.

The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) of New South Wales (NSW), Australia, and the NSW TurtleWatch, a citizen science program in which volunteers gather important turtle data, have recorded that 224 baby sea turtles successfully entered the ocean this year at the end of the nesting season. The NPWS staff and Turtle Watch volunteers spent more than 90 hours monitoring the nests of both the vulnerable green turtles and the endangered loggerhead turtles on beaches, and are delighted by the results. There was a significant increase in nests compared to last year, as seven were found from Tweed to Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Thank you, National Parks and Wildlife Service of New South Wales and TurtleWatch volunteers. May the cherished little turtles grow and flourish in their ocean home as we become devoted guardians of our sacred seas and land, in the splendor of Heaven!

Now, a joke for your happy mood it’s called “All the Right Places.”

Gary and his dog Layla go to a movie. During the funny scenes, the dog laughs. When there’s a sad part, Layla cries. This goes on for the entire film: laughing and crying in all the right places. After the show, a woman who was sitting in the row behind them comes up and says to the dog caregiver: “That was amazing!”

“It sure was. She didn’t really like the book.”

And now we have a heartline from Son Ja-soon in Korea:

As I watch the global community’s move to the vegan world conveyed through Supreme Master TV, I appreciate so much seeing a new hope for the Earth in these waves of change. Especially, I was so glad to hear that Master got rid of maya and the negative force, and the force of karma. When my 6-year old granddaughter Ji-an saw me delighted, she also said, “When I grow up and grow older, I also want to go to Taiwan (Formosa) to see Master.” She thought she needed to be a grown-up and be older to visit Master as she did not see any children there. There are also other humorous comments she said. A Supreme Master TV program with Buddhist nuns and monks, she asked why they are bald-headed. And after watching a tiger animal host, she asked, “If Ji-an goes to Taiwan (Formosa), can I also meet a talking tiger?” I want to share Ji-an’s humor with Beloved Master and the Supreme Master TV team, (to give you smile). (With the world, I wish to share the happiness of the brighter and more positive vegan world. ) Son Ja-soon from Busan, Korea

Cherished Grandmother Son Ja-soon, Thank you for telling these lovely stories of your granddaughter Ji-an and her innocent questions after watching Supreme Master Television! We join you in expressing deep gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai. Through Master’s Divine power and grace, maya has been put away, no longer able to hinder our progression to the reality of a totally vegan planet. May God speed our transition to a plant-based world as we welcome this loving, peaceful, and blessed state of being in harmony with nature. In Celestial Light, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master said: “Optimistic Son Ja-soon, your lovely angel granddaughter sounds like a delight! Reading her questions definitely brightened my day. May you and united Korea enjoy bliss and peace, in the mercy of the Providence.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
