“You must have it in mind that which you are demanding for yourself must reach others as well. Compassion and spirituality are so very intimate. And in today’s time, veganism is the strongest name for compassion. You cannot be spiritual and violent at the same time. You cannot be spiritual and a flesh-eater at the same time.”

Acharya Prashant is a respected spiritual figure, who possesses a wealth of Advaita wisdom, which is a branch of Hindu philosophy from the Vedanta school that asserts the ultimate interconnected oneness of reality. He is also the founder of the famous Prashant Advait Foundation, which, along with his inspiring books and multimillion-followers on social platforms, widely spreads Acharya Prashant’s spiritual teaching around the globe.

Even though spirituality is his prime focus in uplifting social consciousness, Acharya Prashant is likewise famous for his outstanding vegan activism. His two vegan books, “Jaka Gala Tum Kaatiho” in Hindi and “Is She Just Food to You?” in English, plus his outspokenness about veganism are notable symbols of his dedication to the animal-people. In 2022, PETA India honored him with the title of “Most Influential Vegan of the Year.”

On today’s program, Acharya Prashant will discuss the inter-relativity of spirituality, religion, and liberation, as well as the vital role of spiritual teachers. Let us begin with a discussion on the difference between spirituality and religion. “So you could say that truth or peace is at the center. Spirituality is a small circle emanating from that center, and religion is a much bigger circle around the same center.”

For most people, the tiring life drama seems to keep going on endlessly. Thus, enlightened Masters always come to awaken and rescue beings who are fed up with this game. Acharya Prashant will now share with us the eternal struggles of humankind to achieve liberation.
