In today’s news, Pakistan assists Iraq in COVID-19 pandemic response, parts of New South Wales, Australia experience extreme flooding, University of Hong Kong researchers aid coral re-population through 3D-printed reef, United Kingdom study shows exercise is good for adolescent brains, death penalty abolished in Virginia, United States, Austrian plant-based meat brand adds four new products, and 145 dogs in China saved from meat trade arrive in United States. Pakistan supports pandemic response in Iraq. Pakistan’s prime minister, His Excellency Imran Khan, a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance laureate, has directed the Pakistani government to send three plane-loads of COVID relief supplies to Iraq, with one shipment having already been made. Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Chaudhri stated only unity and cooperation between nations could address the worldwide challenge of COVID-19. He also noted that the two countries have had a deep connection for a long period based upon shared faith and values and that there is increasing collaboration between the two in many areas. Thank you, Your Excellency Imran Khan and the government of Pakistan, for your generosity to and care for the fine people of Iraq. May Allah bless Iraq and Pakistan with health, peace, prosperity, and happiness. Severe flooding turns parts of New South Wales, Australia into inland sea. The Australian state of New South Wales recently saw the most intense flooding in 60 years in some areas, and parts of the state resembled an inland sea. Bridges, roads, cars and houses across the region were submerged. One meter of rain fell in as little as a few days, and almost 80,000 people evacuated from their homes. The military and local residents worked to aid humans and animals affected by the situation. Unfortunately, two men sadly lost their lives after being trapped in their flooded vehicles. Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) said climate change is influencing the “frequency, magnitude and impacts” of extreme weather. In the Mercy of Heaven, may the New South Wales residents recover quickly from this event and soon regain normalcy in their lives. Up next, University of Hong Kong researchers aid coral re-population through 3D-printed reef. We will pause for a moment to thank ocean program administrators who help manage and coordinate various activities to ensure a project team’s smooth operation in protecting our ocean ecosystems. We’ll be right back, with more caring news on Supreme Master Television. Respected viewers, I am Sion the vegan Snowy Owl. You smell so clean and health-full just like me. You must be a vegan, I am right, love you much for that... I have a handy tip for you today. Is your ventilation system working properly in your bathroom? Do you notice humidity lingering for a long period after you shower? The ventilation system should decrease any dampness effectively; therefore, if you observe moisture dripping from the ceiling or mold staining the walls or surfaces in your bathroom, it’s time to inspect your bathroom fan. The exhaust fan may be dirty and needs cleaning or could be damaged and requires replacing. It’s also possible the ventilation system was improperly installed and will need to be repaired by a professional. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around the globe. University of Hong Kong (HKU) researchers help coral thrive with 3D-printing. HKU scientists have planted 3D-printed clay tiles on the seabed of Hong Kong’s Hoi Ha Wan marine park to help improve the habitat for corals, fish and other ocean animals. The native coral has experienced mass bleaching and die-offs due to climate change, and the project is helping to restore the coral populations. Tiles containing 400 coral fragments have been set on a 40 square-meter section of the sea floor. The researchers note that when they initially laid the tiles last summer, there were only a few fish around, but now the artificial reef hosts abundant life. Fantastic news, University of Hong Kong scientists, on the success of your 3D-printed reef. In Buddha’s peace, may your initiative help to protect and multiply the beautiful marine beings in the coastal waters surrounding your home. Exercise may improve adolescent brain health. A study by Drs. Heidi Johansen-Berg and Piergiorgio Salvan and others from the United Kingdom’s Oxford University has determined there is a definite positive relationship between exercise, fitness and brain health in youth. Fifty twelve-year-old girls and boys who took part in the experiment were fitted with a wrist accelerometer for seven days to track their activity. Later, they each took an aerobic fitness test to measure oxygen consumption. Through MRI brain scans of the adolescents, researchers found that the participants who were more fit had a larger amount of blood flowing through their brains and also more glial cells in the brain’s white matter, which are responsible for metabolic and structural support. Thank you, Drs. Heidi Johansen-Berg Dr. Piergiorgio Salvan, and team, for your important investigation. In Heaven’s Grace, may all young people embrace greater daily physical activity to lead more balanced and healthy lives. Virginia, United States abolishes death penalty. In March 2021, Virginia’s governor, the Honorable Ralph Northam, signed into law a bill ceasing the practice of capital punishment. Virginia is the first southern state in the US to do so. Governor Northam said: “It is the moral thing to do to end the death penalty.” Virginia joins 22 other US states and 170 United Nations member countries that have done away with executions. Since 1973, there have been 170 lives saved from death row in the United States after evidence later proved their innocence. Our deep appreciation, the Honorable Ralph Northam and the State of Virginia, for recognizing that all lives are precious as God resides in each of us. May all beings be forever protected in the gracious benevolence of the Divine. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance to the Honorable Ralph Northam with high esteem and praises for your noble and wise decision. May you and the fine people of Virginia forever know God's grace.”Coming up, Austrian plant-based meat brand adding four new products. We’ll just pause for a moment to make some fresh orange juice in the kitchen using a juicer. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more praiseworthy news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Fortunate News for a Lucky World. Austrian-based vegan meat company launches four new products. Austria’s vegini has joined the alternative seafood market segment with a plant-based fish finger called Crispy Torpedos, with other new offerings being Oriental Falafel, Grillmix, and raw Mini Sausages. Speaking of the vegan fish, Andreas Gebhart, founder and CEO of vegini said, “With our product, we torpedo the mass fishing industry and offer a sustainable alternative, so that our overfished oceans can recover. At the same time our Crispy Torpedos are free from animal suffering, free from heavy metals, and as all vegini products free from flavor enhancers and preservatives.” The company’s other items are also made with pea protein and include Pulled Chunks Mediterranean Herbs, Pepperfilet, Schnitzerl, burgers and many more. Way to go, vegini, for rolling out new plant-based fare! May the global food industry soon choose compassion and change to meat alternatives to protect the animals and environment and our lives. Dogs in China rescued from meat trade come to United States. China Rescue Dogs, a US-based non-profit, recently flew 145 canines from China to New York, United States. The pooches were saved from slaughterhouses and the meat trade, as well as from abusive situations. Sixty more dogs are waiting in China for fundraising to accumulate the approximately US$30,000 needed to pay for the flight to transport them. All canines have been quarantined, vaccinated, and microchipped and are ready to start a new life with their loving, forever families throughout Canada and the US. Jill Stewart, the organization’s founder, expressed her delight, saying: “I become so emotional knowing how much joy and unconditional love they are now bringing to their new families.” Bravo, Jill Stewart, China Rescue Dogs staff and all involved in freeing the lovely canines. May our gentle animal friends know only love and forever happiness in God’s tender embrace. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to China Rescue Dogs with US$30,000 so that the rest of the dogs can be all rescued in humble support for your worthy cause. May Heaven always shield those involved as you find loving homes for the vulnerable, precious canine lives.” They say laughter is the best medicine! Please join us for the joke of the day entitled “Fire Truck.” When a small village decided to buy a new fire truck, the town council met to decide what to do with the previous one. Jerry, an older man, stood up. “I think we should keep the old truck. We can use it for false alarms!” And now we have a heartline from Kim in the United States: Dear Sisters and Brothers, I found one of my notes from at least 25 years ago, and it’s so true regarding what our Master and our dedicated sisters and brothers have done for our world now. I hope that this story, if it is shared on Supreme Master TV, may motivate more sisters and brothers to work, to help, to find the source of continual life. This is the story: I had a strange dream about 25 years ago, that I went to a school and had a teacher for moral and spiritual study. This area had a drought so bad that there was nothing to live on and no water to drink. People were so miserable, and some advised me to leave, as many had already left this place. One day, I did not go to school because I thought nothing was there, and my teacher could probably not do anything about this tribulation. But later, when I eventually went back to school, I found that the dedicated students had dug a well. When I looked, the ground was dug up, but there was no water; I was disappointed. But I was totally wrong! My teacher and friends had found the underground water source, but the waterline was very low. My school friends drew the water into a piece of paper little by little and squeezed it into a tub to share with everyone. I felt ashamed that I wasn't helping, but at the same time I had learned a lesson. * My teacher had given his best, even though the place was arid, but some people had not given their best strength, so they had not helped. The area was, in fact, not a dead land, it had the potential for life. * My friends did not give up. In this world, there are people who really love others; they give up their own joy and happiness to save lives. * I learned I have to live to do what suits me and what is best for others. This dream is now totally true; our Master and Her dedicated students have worked all of their lives to find the source of continued life for others. With Master's Love and Blessing, Kim from the United States Mindful Kim, We appreciate you sharing your story and hope that others can be motivated as well to work for the betterment of our world, especially during this urgent time. May we all join hands in building a peaceful and prosperous tomorrow by being vegan and saving all animals’ lives today. Together we pray with our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai for Heaven to reign on Earth soon. May you and the exemplary citizens of America be showered with God’s Love and Grace. In Divine guidance, Supreme Master TV team P.S. Master has some words for you: “Gracious Kim, your story’s lessons of keeping hope alive and being selfless are invaluable ones. Just as in your dream, we must not give up in our efforts to constructively change our world; we can have a beautiful, peaceful future by creating World Vegan through prayer and spreading the good news of the vegan diet. May the Providence forever watch over you and the mighty United States.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineThank you for your presence on Noteworthy News. May your days be graced with Divine wisdom and joy.

In today’s news, Japan supports food assistance to Palestinians in Syria, coronavirus mutates to evade being neutralized, South African innovation makes more buildings accessible to people with reduced mobility, genetic vaccine technology may soon be used against cancer, female Colombian immigrant becomes NASA flight director, vegan delivery service in United Kingdom introduces its own precooked meals, and Australian state bans dolphin shows and breeding for commercial use. Refugees in Syria benefit from Japan’s kindness. In response to an appeal from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), the government of Japan has donated US$ 1.8 million. Japan is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Generosity, and Animal Protection laureate. The funds will enable UN personnel to provide essential nutrition to some 418,000 Palestinians living in Syria. It has become increasingly challenging for these people to feed themselves due to the ongoing conflict, the COVID-19 pandemic and rising market prices. According to UNRWA surveys, meals have been smaller and less frequent for most families since March 2020. Many respondents reported going into debt to purchase basic items and that they had to consume less nutritious food. Thank you, Japan and UNRWA, for your timely intervention that provides relief to vulnerable populations. May the displaced Palestinians soon see the dawn of peace and prosperity, in the comforting love of Allah. Testing reveals vaccines have less effect on variants. A study released in January 2021 predicted that the coronavirus would mutate to evade being neutralized. Lead author of the report, Dr. David Ho at Columbia University in the US, says that clinical trials have confirmed the foretelling. In the UK, although Novavax inoculations were almost 90% effective against the variant that emerged in England, they prevented disease only 49% of the time in South Africa, where a different variant is prevalent. Additionally, antibodies in blood samples from individuals who received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine were less robust at deactivating the variants. Dr. Ho warns that we must stop the spread of the virus to prevent its further evolution. Our deep appreciation, Dr. Ho and team, for your research and advice. We pray that humanity will go vegan to eradicate the pandemic and all suffering on Earth, in the light of the Providence. Up next, South African innovation makes more buildings accessible to people with reduced mobility. We’ll take a moment to thank the vocational rehabilitation counselors who help veterans with service-related disabilities prepare for, obtain and maintain suitable employment. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more beneficial news. Good day, gentle friends! I’m Sally the vegan Hairy Saki. My compassionate and nourishing way of eating has changed my perspective about life and boosted my discernment. Be more astute like me by going vegan! If you have toddlers or young children, here is a playtime tip. A large cardboard box is a great starting point for imaginative and physical fun. If it is big enough, children can get inside and decide what they want it to be. Whether it is just a cave or something more elaborate like a house, a shop or a spaceship, follow their lead and try to provide any supplies or skills they need. Sparking their creativity in this way can be entertaining for them and economical for you! Thank you for your attention and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather. Accountant turned inventor creates wheelchair that works on stairs. Ernest Majenge of South Africa observed how challenging life can be for people with reduced mobility. He especially noticed hand-me-down wheelchairs that needed fixing. So he started a repair service called The WheelChair Doctor and began getting design ideas for a specialized model that could traverse a set of steps. After finding an investor to back him, Mr. Majenge constructed a prototype and began receiving orders. The unique device has wheels that can change from being round, for level ground, to segmented, for going up stairs. The person sitting in the chair pulls on small handles attached to the wheels as an assistant firmly holds a handlebar at the rear. A big round of applause, Ernest Majenge, for your thoughtful service to others. Such innovations inspire us to pursue our dreams and trust in the loving guidance of Heaven. Genetic approach to immunization could be a game changer. The co-founders of Germany-based BioNTech SE, Drs. Uğur Şahin and Özlem Türeci, were working on a way to stimulate immunity against malignant tumors when they first heard about COVID-19. They decided to apply their research to the coronavirus with the goal of quickly creating a vaccine. With financial backing from Pfizer Inc., they succeeded in using messenger RNA (mRNA) to deliver genic instructions to cells for producing a strong immune response. The husband and wife team physicians have been awarded the Order of Merit, one of Germany’s highest honors, for their breakthrough achievement. The two expect that the same biotechnology will yield cancer vaccines in the near future. Our heartfelt gratitude, Drs. Uğur Şahin and Özlem Türeci, for your lifelong efforts to reduce human misery. May all people help themselves to health and happiness by adopting plant-based food diets, in Divine wisdom. Aerospace engineer sets example for Hispanic women to follow. When Diana Trujillo left Colombia at 17 to live with her aunt in Florida, USA, she had only US $300 in her name. She needed to improve her English and wanted to study science, so she worked as a housekeeper to pay for school. She became the first Latina to study at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Academy and was subsequently offered a job at the agency’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Fast-forward to 2021, and Ms. Trujillo is working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. In addition to being a flight director for the Perseverance rover on Mars, she provided commentary in Spanish as it landed – a first for the space program. She also advocates for other Hispanic women to pursue their interests in science and engineering. Congratulations, Diana Trujillo, on your exceptional career! May young women everywhere be inspired to enter technical fields and contribute their talents, in Celestial harmony. Coming up, vegan delivery service in United Kingdom introduces its own precooked meals. We will take a moment to appreciate the blessings we receive from our four-legged companions, especially the joy we get when they do something funny. More outstanding news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Encouraging News for a Lasting World. Online retailer starts new plant-based convenience brand. The VeganKind (TVK), based in Scotland, is renowned for its vegan supermarket and monthly subscription boxes, with delivery throughout the UK. The enterprise has over 600,000 followers on social media and stocks more than 5,000 products, including 200 kinds of non-dairy cheese. A growing trend toward ethical consumerism that benefits animals and the planet, has prompted TVK to expand its operations and move into a larger warehouse. Recently, the company launched its own range of precooked vegan meals called Love Plants, which feature the popular meat substitute This Isn’t Chicken. The first three scrumptious varieties are Chick’n Arrabiata, Chick’n Korma and Thai Green Chick’n Curry. Bravo, The VeganKind, for your forward-thinking initiatives to promote a friendly and sustainable way of living. In Heaven’s uplifting grace, may humanity fully appreciate this beautiful Earth and take steps to preserve it for generations to come. Dolphins protected from performing for the public in New South Wales. The Australian state has passed amendments to its Biodiversity Conservation Act that prohibit dolphin shows as well as the breeding of cetaceans for entertainment. The one remaining commercial business, Dolphin Marine Conservation Park, is currently home to three animals that cannot be released into the wild because they were born in captivity. Instead, management will pursue relocating them to a proper seaside sanctuary. New South Wales is a recipient of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and a Shining World Leadership Award for Protection; as well as a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Caring laureate. Way to go, New South Wales and Dolphin Marine Conservation Park! Our hearts are warmed by your noble actions that respect the right of these gentle beings to live natural and fulfilling lives. We pray that other states and countries will take inspiration from you and enact vegan laws to permanently put an end to animal suffering, in Heavenly upliftment. Now, a joke for your happy mood. It’s called “Declaration of Independence.” A taxicab driver was cruising around the city and pulled over to pick up a young professional. After noting the destination, the driver wanted to start a conversation, so he asked: “Can I ask what you do for a living?”“I work as a script editor and also part-time as a voice-over artist.”“That’s cool. Me, I don’t like working for no one. I’d rather be independent, ya know – be my own boss. Nobody tells me what to do.”“I wish you all the best with that. Oh, please make a right at the next corner.”“You got it.”And now we have a heartline from Liên and Quý in Australia: Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai, Both my wife and I are so grateful to Master as well as Supreme Master Television. We have three children who all got initiated. Due to Master’s Grace, our youngest son, now 27 years old, has been a vegan since birth. Our eldest son, now 37 years old, was a vegan for 20 years, and then he ate meat again and drank alcohol with his friends due to many temptations in life. He could not even keep his own family’s happiness. One day, he came to visit us, and right at that time Master was on Supreme Master TV calling on everyone to be vegan to save our world and be heroes. That night at his home, he had a dream in which his soul left his body and went to Heaven. After waking up, he was so happy because he thought that he would never get a chance to go to Heaven due to his violating the precepts. The next morning, on his way to work, he remembered Master’s words, then he cried and promised himself that he would go back to a vegan diet, cook vegan food for his wife and children, and advise his friends to be vegan too. Now, his family has become happy again, and his business has become smooth and favorable. Liên and Quý from Australia Blessed Liên and Quý, Our appreciation for your heartline. Thank you for sharing this good news about your eldest son’s positive change in direction. May we all find true purpose in life through the practice of self-cultivation. Here is some food for your souls from Master: “Lovely Liên and Quý, I am happy that you are strong in faith and continuing your diligent spiritual practice. Please share Supreme Master Television with others so more can benefit from the loving energy that flows from it, changing people’s hearts as you have witnessed with your oldest son. May the power of angels and Heavenly Beings protect and help you overcome any obstacles on your journey returning Home. Divine Love and comfort to you and vibrant Australia.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineWe have enjoyed spending time with you on Noteworthy News. May the Heavens shower you with pure and compassionate wisdom.

In today’s news, Norway provides financial aid to Palestinian refugees, NASA lands rover on Mars and performs test drive, Ugandan village rebuilds on solar energy and people power, Porsche to create fuel from wind power, first female officer joins unit to help the most vulnerable in Philadelphia, United States, Scottish people are the most supportive of veganism within the United Kingdom, and endangered Australian numbats have hope in wildlife sanctuaries. Norway supports Palestinian refugees. The government of Norway has donated approximately US$15 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). This provision facilitates the organization’s efforts in helping around 5.7 million Palestinian refugees across the West Bank, in Jordan, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon. UNRWA ensures schooling for more than 520,000 students, plus health services and safety. It also assists in responding to the pandemic and increasing stability in the area. Norway is a recipient of Shining World Leadership Awards for Environmental Protection, Humanitarianism, Good Governance and Peace, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Animal Protection and Compassion. The United Nations is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership Award for Humanitarianism and two Shining World Leadership for Lives-Saving-Hero Awards. Thank you and Heaven bless, Norway and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. Wishing peace and abundance for all the loving Palestinian people, in Allah’s kindness. NASA’s new rover lands and drives on Mars. The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA’s) Mars Exploration Program has successfully transported their Perseverance rover to the surface of the Red Planet and performed various tests of the machinery. A primary mission of the rover focuses on astrobiology research, which includes seeking out evidence of former microbial life, as well as examining the geology and determining the past climate. Eventually, it is hoped that the information gained will pave the way for future human planetary exploration. Approximately 7,000 images of the event have already been received on Earth. Congratulations, NASA and the United States, for your successful landing of the Perseverance rover on Mars. In Divine wisdom, may we soon discover even more wonders of our solar system. Up next, Ugandan village thrives with green energy. We’ll take a moment to thank the orthodontic technicians, who help to design and construct dental tools such as braces to align patients’ teeth. Hallo, charming viewers, I’m Antonio the vegan Alpaca. How can you help the planet? Adopt a vegan diet! Today, I would like to share a tip from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: "Hey kids! Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world! Ugandan village thrives on green energy and people power. Okere Mom-Kok, also known as Okere City, is a village in northern Uganda that was once destroyed by conflict. Now it has been recreated into a sustainable community with solar-generated electricity and clean water supplied by a modern borehole. Okere City’s 4,000 residents have a clinic with flexible payment methods and a school that accepts items such as sugar, beans and firewood as payment for up to half the cost of its tuition. Furthermore, a credit union provides loans to community members, commonly used for local projects. Ojok Okello, a graduate of the London School of Economics with relatives living in the village, invested US$54,000 to achieve the green transformation. Mr. Okello also had the idea to utilize the plentiful shea trees in the village to make and sell shea butter. Congratulations, Ojok Okello and the enterprising residents of Okere City. May your exemplary village inspire many others and thus better even more lives, in God’s grace. Porsche to create cleaner gasoline from wind power. German luxury sports car company Porsche has announced a €24 million investment to make eco-friendly electrofuels using wind energy, so that their previous models can still be used for a longer time. Green produced hydrogen will be converted into synthetic methanol, which can be burned in typical gasoline cars without modifying the engine. This electrofuel, which is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 85%, will be produced at a new facility to be built in a Chilean region that is ideal for wind farms. Siemens Energy and other partners are joining the initiative while €9 million will be contributed by the German government, a Shining World Caring Leadership Award and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Wise Governance laureate. We are impressed, Porsche, partners and the German government. In the goodness of the Providence, may the shift to eco-motoring bring cleaner air to our cities and good health to all. First female officer joins special unit to help disadvantaged citizens. Police Officer Meika Bell is the first woman ever to start working with the typically all-male Central Service Detail unit in Philadelphia, United States, which assists the most vulnerable residents in the city. The team’s social service approach focuses on people experiencing homelessness with difficulties in areas such as food and also personal matters. Ms. Bell feels that her presence alongside her male colleagues helps, saying, “Females can relate to me more, so they are more able to express their needs and wants…” As a registered nurse, Ms. Bell also puts her medical knowledge to good use in handling service calls. Kudos, Ms. Bell, and our gratitude to you and your team. May more cities likewise show such loving care towards their residents in need. Coming up, Scottish people found to be the most supportive of veganism within the United Kingdom. We’ll just take a moment to thank the stars that shine upon us from galaxies millions of light years away. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more noble news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Conducive News for an Intelligent World. Scottish residents most in favor of veganism in United Kingdom. A recent survey by the Vegan Society from the UK has found that 30% of Scottish people would like the government to support plant-based eating as a way of responding to climate change. Around two-thirds of those people further wish that the government would launch campaigns to educate the public about veganism’s environmental and health benefits. Also of note, in 2020, the Scottish city of Glasgow was ranked as Europe’s third best living location for vegans. Our cheerful applause, Scotland, for your support of the vegan diet to solve the grave issues currently facing our world. May all governments enact your wise wishes and quickly inform their citizens of the importance of plant-based eating, in Heaven’s mercy. Rare Australian numbats are thriving in protected sanctuaries. The Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC), an independent non-profit organization, has established predator-free sanctuaries in four locations across Australia to help save numbats from extinction. Once found abundant across the country, their numbers have sadly declined due to introduced predators and habitat loss. They are classified as endangered, with only 1,000 estimated left in the wild. Within the new secured areas, AWC hopes that the numbats will naturally develop self-sustaining and genetically strong populations over time. Georgia Volk of AWC, who monitors at one of the sanctuaries, reported to BBC News that their program, which began in 2016, has been fruitful and it is now more common to see the unique marsupial in the reserves. Our heartfelt appreciation, Australian Wildlife Conservancy, for protecting Australia’s cherished adorable numbats. May all our unique animal co-tenants be allowed to flourish, in Celestial peace. May your day be brighter with the joke of the day called, “Nowadays.” "Nowadays, you need to be careful with the professional thieves more than the amateur ones.""What is the difference between an amateur thief and a professional thief?" "An amateur thief says, 'Give me all your money!' A professional thief says, 'Sign here, please!'" And now we have a heartline from Happy in China: Dear Master, You are the Savior of my life. Last year, I had a car accident. When I was in a full coma, I encountered many difficulties. But the transcendental form of Master helped take care of everything so that I could recuperate without worry. Although I was seriously injured, I recovered quickly by keeping a simple vegan diet. I owed all this to Great Master. I am grateful for Master's infinite Mercy and Wisdom and for dear Master’s immense effort in helping the world. I often tell others not to slander the living Buddha since it will bring bad karma. May all sentient beings in the world wake up quickly; may all Earth inhabitants return to a healthy and natural vegan lifestyle as soon as possible, and may Heaven protect all loving people and let them have good health and longevity! Wishing Master enjoy longevity, good health and beauty forever! Happy from China Grateful Happy, Thank you for writing to us. We are glad to hear that you are all better now, despite the enormous challenges you have faced. Our gratitude for sharing this motivational experience with us. Having Supreme Master Ching Hai in our lives is an absolute miracle. We thank Heavens always and pray that all beings will find the Ultimate Master to care and protect them, here and forever after. We rejoice to send you this message from Master: “Devout Happy, I’m sorry that you experienced such a tremendous calamity; even then, your faith remains unchanged, and you still continue sincerely on the path of self-realization. May the inner Master, great angels and Divine Beings protect you and extraordinary China always, in the Buddha’s abundant benevolence.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineThank you for spending time with us on Noteworthy News. May you be graced with Celestial serenity and love.

Reminder for Humans from Mars, Venus, and a Tree Deity

00:13:36

Reminder for Humans from Mars, Venus, and a Tree Deity

Host: On April 15, 2021, our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai kindly reserved time from Her intensive meditation retreat for the sake of our world, to again call the Supreme Master Television team members and read from “A Treasury of Jewish Folklore” compiled by Nguyễn Ước. Two stories were graciously translated by Master, “The 10 Commandments” and “Moses and the Ants,” in which valued lessons, such as the power of collective karma, were illustrated. As a start to the conference, questions from team members were benevolently answered by our Cherished Master. (Master,) Yeah. (in recent news, there is some speculation of government contact with aliens or a galactic federation. Also, there have been increased reportings of UFOs. It seems maybe are they wanting to tell us something. Does Master know what they want to tell us?) Oh. Yeah, they’ve been telling us for ages already. They have been telling us since forever. (Oh.) I probably have written it. Their message is like this. The first paper I wrote is: “Do not form zealous, negative, destructive war-like energy around your world.” And the second piece of paper that I noted, it says: “Not zealously destroy world, Peace, world lives.” I guess they mean don’t blindly destroy your world. Must make peace in the world and don’t destroy lives. Their messages are short. And the third paper, it says, “Not kill your world’s lives.” And the fourth piece of paper I have here is: “Not destroy your life.” From the first to this fourth piece of paper, all from same planet, Mars. And now from Venus. First one, “Not destroy your world.” The second message: “Not to kill beings.” And the third message: “Not destroy your world’s lives.” That’s it, from Mars and from Venus. The first four messages are from Mars and the three later messages are from Venus. They have more, of course, but almost similar all the time, so I just noted down these seven messages. (Master, recently scientists have released polarized pictures of the M87 black hole, showing its magnetic fields which look like golden stripes or rings. Dr. Andrew Chael, a member of the Event Horizon Telescope collaboration team, said, “The newly published polarized images are key to understanding how the magnetic field allows the black hole to ‘eat’ matter and launch powerful jets.” Could Master tell us what is the meaning of these magnetic fields of the black hole?) The golden stripes is the new stuff. (Oh.) Well, not quite new, but they were only discovered recently. That is a stripe, actually it is more extra reinforced. This is the rescue road for the souls from hell. (Wow.) It’s a rescue arena. A special magnetic field to rescue, and to help those in hell. (Wow.) Without that, nobody escapes. Nothing can escape the black hole force. (Wow.) Whatever goes in there, it just stays in there. So there has to be this balance ring, half of the ring or the stripes, half-way, to counterbalance the force of the black hole. Because the black hole is hell. (Yes.) And whoever makes trouble, even a big star or big planet nearby, it will swallow it up if that planet doesn’t have enough counterpower, like enough merit, enough virtues, (Yes, Master.) to counter the force of this monster that keeps eating everything possible nearby. We have more than one black hole. That’s the problem. (Yes.) (Wow.) Everywhere, standing by to suck in anything that has similar energy to the black hole. When the beings inside a star or inside a planet have been doing so many things that are not very morally noble and just, then the energy of that star or that planet will grow more and more similar to the black hole energy. And then like will attract like, and then the black hole will claim it as its own. (Wow!) This is a very scary thing. No need to talk about karma or the Buddhist teaching, nothing. You can see it by scientific evidence and proof. It’s just that the scientists probably don’t know that the black hole is a force of darkness, of hell. And probably they have not discovered that whatever the planet or the star that has similar energy to the black hole, that will be eaten up, shredded, and swallowed up by the black hole. That, probably the scientists cannot prove by physical means. (Yes, Master.) Only the developed spiritual person can know all this, (Right.) because nobody explained this before to anybody. (Yes, Master.) You are the first ones to hear this, in the whole universe. (Thank You, Master. Wow!) (Master, in recent news, there is a report about a natural phenomenon in Australia where there is a lake that sometimes creates an image of the Tree of Life. It happens when nearby tea trees release their oil into the water, making it dark, and the lake’s drainage channels create a shape that resembles a huge Tree of Life. There are some really beautiful photos taken and shared on social media. Master, do You know what the meaning of this natural phenomenon is?) You see, every tree, most of the trees, have some deities that live with the tree, become the spirit of the tree or the tree spirit. So, these tea trees, they have deities, and these deities are very benevolent. He is using his power, as much power as he has, to draw this tree on the lake (Wow!) using the oil of the tea tree. (Oh, wow! Wow!) To draw it like that. You can see it’s a phenomenon, it’s not like a natural thing that the tea tree just oozes out the tree oil and then it becomes so perfectly drawn like a painting, in explicit detail. (Yes, Master.) So this is to keep warning us. Oh yeah, I have here. “The tea tree’s deity draws in the water the Tree of Life to remind humans not to destroy ourselves.” And I said here, “Genius idea.” (Yes.) I praised the tree deity for the genius idea. Of course, the Tree of Life symbolizes life, and the deity wants to remind us that we do not destroy life, because if we destroy other life, then we destroy our own life also. If we destroy trees, which give us oxygen and shade, and holding the soil together so that it will not be washed away, and so many things that the tree can do, and if we keep cutting them, just to raise the animals, and then we kill the animals as well, then our life will be at stake also. (Yes, Master.) Most of the humans do not hear the trees, do not hear the deities around us who are always trying to tell us things, even animals. Whenever I have time to sit down and think of humans, I think we are all deaf, blind and dumb. We don’t know anything and we look down upon the animals who are so intelligent, so inside, so connected with the Divine. Even trees have to ooze out whatever oil they have to teach humans to be better stewards of the planet, not to kill lives, not to destroy the environment or other animals because that means we are killing ourselves. It says, “Remind humans not to destroy ourselves.” That’s why he drew the Tree of Life, so perfect! (Yes, Master.) More perfect and precise, more than what we do even with the pen. (It’s incredible.) So perfect like done by a computer. So detailed, so perfect in every little stroke. (It’s amazing.) So, it means exactly that: “Do not destroy life.” We cut trees, we kill animals, all these are destroying activities to ourselves. The price of the food has never been so high, because we’re having food shortage, because we destroy natural environments and kill bees by insecticides, and also the pandemic right now. One thing leads to another. Everything seems like pounding on humans’ existence right now. Truly want to destroy humans. So even I work with the Heavens to put that rescue area there. Like a refugee camp (Wow.) outside of the black hole. That’s for the hell beings, whoever can. Just one split nano of the second remember God or remember the Saints, or repentant, or calling for help, then we can use that raft, to take them up to that area. (Thank You, Master.) And then slowly, of course, to bring them up to higher-area Heavens. Karma is a scary thing; I don’t wish for anybody to come back to this life ever, ever again. I wish my best in the heart, the best-in-my-heart wish is that everybody is liberated from this shadow world. That’s what I want, nothing else I want. Nothing else I wish for. I told Heaven, even if I have to be punished and stay all alone here or in hell somewhere, but everyone else, including all the animals, are liberated, I’m more than infinite times willing to do it. And Heavens know that. And you are my witness. Host: Most Merciful Master, no words can describe how deeply Your heart’s wish touches our hearts, humbling us before Your unfathomable Compassion and Love for all beings. Our prayers are for the speedy awakening of fellow Earthlings, as we all unite in the urgency of achieving a vegan world filled with true nobility and kindness. May Master be always shielded by the Mighty Godses and all High Heavens, while staying in the best of health and tranquility. For the full broadcast of this conference with Supreme Master Ching Hai, please tune in to Between Master and Disciples at a later date.

In today’s news, Equatorial Guinea receives international aid after explosions, scientists discover human activities destroying Amazon’s natural planet-cooling abilities, report names Finland as the happiest country in the world, wind power doubles in Australian state, first female tour guide in Afghanistan is an inspiring example, Oxford University student starts vegan leather brand, and Netflix airs new eye-opening documentary about the seafood industry. Equatorial Guinea receives international humanitarian assistance following explosion. After a catastrophic explosion at a military base in Equatorial Guinea that took the lives of at least 107 individuals and injured more than 610 in Bata city, nations around the world have offered help. Donations for aid included US$908,000 from Gabon, US$188,000 from the European Union, US$200,000 from the Republic of Korea and US$150,000 from the United States. Emergency relief medical staff and/or supplies were provided by France, Qatar, Spain and Venezuela. In addition, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are working with Equatorial Guinea’s Health Ministry to coordinate and give assistance. Gabon is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate; the European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring; Korea is a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Peace. Qatar is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace and Compassion laureate; Spain is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion; The United States is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 23 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award; and Venezuela is a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance laureate. Our earnest gratitude, all nations and organizations involved for your quick response with much-needed help for this urgent situation. May Heaven bless all those affected by this tragic event with much comfort, in the Divine’s loving embrace. Scientists find human activities cause the Amazon to lose capacity to cool the Earth. Research by a team of over 30 international scientists warned that destructive human practices, including logging and deforestation, are increasing the “risk of sudden collapse” of the Amazon Basin’s regional climate and hydrological system. Entitled “Carbon and Beyond: The Biogeochemistry of Climate in a Rapidly Changing Amazon,” the study pointed out that cattle ranching is driving widespread deforestation in the biome, with Brazil as the “epicenter” of damage. Alarmingly, the warming effect of not only CO2 but also non-carbon gases, especially methane and nitrous oxide, emitted by the Amazon from these damaging human actions is estimated to “most likely exceed” the cooling effect of the Basin’s current CO2 uptake, if it has not already done so. To restore balance, lead author Dr. Kristofer Covey of United States-based Skidmore College and his colleagues urge a curb in detrimental activities, particularly deforestation, and an increase in reforestation efforts. Many thanks, Dr. Kristofer Covey and all scientists involved. In Heaven’s brilliance, may humanity quickly embrace the environmentally friendly vegan lifestyle to revitalize and save the Earth. Up next, report names Finland as the happiest country in the world. We’ll just thank the air cargo ground crew supervisors, who coordinate teams of workers to load, unload and secure aircraft cargo or baggage, as well as carefully calculate load weights to maximize space distribution and safety. Please stay for more assuring news on Supreme Master Television. Hey, optimistic friends, how are you doing? I’m Penelope the vegan Chinstrap Penguin. Have you ever heard of the expression “strong as an ox?” Well, adopt a vegan diet and you can become just that! According to the award-winning DailyCaring website, if you have an elderly loved one coping with a cognitive disorder, try spending time with them while giving them a productive task to complete. For instance, folding laundry is a great activity for this as it makes them feel like they are positively contributing to the household. Start with hand towels, as these are small and can be easily folded. It doesn't matter if the towels are neatly folded-- the point of the activity is it makes your beloved elder feel good and successful. Just remember to be patient and let them do it at their own pace. Thank you for tuning in and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe. Finland listed as the happiest country in the world. According to the 2021 World Happiness Report, Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for the fourth consecutive year, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The annual report, sponsored by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, ranks 149 countries based on factors such as social support, personal freedom, opinions of residents, and gross domestic product. Finland stood out with its high level of mutual trust amongst its citizens, which also helped to safeguard lives during the pandemic. Second place went to Denmark and third to Switzerland, with nine of the 10 happiest countries being European. Congratulations, Finland! May we all realize our innate loving nature to create a blissful life wherever we are on Earth, in the guidance of the Divine. Wind power generation doubles in Australian state. Data from management consultants Cornwall Insight Australia has shown that wind power in the state of Victoria is a growing complement to its solar power and is displacing fossil fuel-based generation. In 2017, wind and gas respectively contributed six percent and nine percent of the state’s power in the evening, but as more wind turbines have been installed, gas delivered only three percent, and wind was up to 14% in 2020. Kudos, Victoria, on your increasing sustainable power, and thank you, Cornwall Insight Australia, for this good news. In the blessings of the Providence, may all Australian states soon switch to completely renewable power, along with the energy- and planet-saving vegan diet. First female tour guide in Afghanistan advances women’s empowerment. Having overcome many societal challenges, 22-year-old Fatima, a student of journalism at Herat University, is the first and only woman working as a tour guide in Afghanistan. Born in rural Ghor Province, Fatima grew up as a shepherd, and worked diligently to be the only one of eight siblings to be educated. In late 2020, United Kingdom-based adventure travel agency Untamed Borders hired Fatima as tour guide in Afghanistan. Speaking on the importance of women in a nation’s progress, Fatima, who also teaches English to refugee girls and runs her own radio show, said, “I’m sure the world will be a better place, … would be a beautiful place and a peaceful place if men and women … were just allowed to work together…” You are truly an inspiration, Fatima. May all be able to fulfill their dreams in a nurturing and uplifting world, in Allah’s glory. Up next on Noteworthy News, Oxford University student starts vegan leather brand. We’ll pause for a moment to step outside to organize our waste bins into biodegradables, recyclables, and non-recyclables for easier garbage collection. We’ll return with more motivating news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Distinguished News for a Joyful World. Oxford student establishes vegan leather business in Colombia. Gabriel Moreno, a Master’s student in Science at Oxford University in the United Kingdom, and his father Alejandro Moreno of Colombia have co-founded Fiquetex. The Fiquetex vegan leather is made from the fiber of the fique plant, which is native to Colombia. It is 100% biodegradable, environmentally friendly, compassionate, and uses less energy to produce compared to animal-based leather. Fiquetex will have the ability to produce three million meters of vegan leather a year, 80% of which will be exported. Besides providing employment opportunities and skill development to local farmers, Fiquetex expects to prevent 11,000 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere by 2025. Our warm applause, Alejandro and Gabriel Moreno, for caring for the environment and the people of Colombia. May vegan businesses spring up in every corner of the globe, in God’s watchful gaze. Powerful film about the seafood industry airs on Netflix. From the creators of Cowspiracy and What the Health comes Seaspiracy – a new documentary exposing the truth behind the seafood and fishing industry. In the same investigative journalistic style as the previous two films produced by Shining World Compassion Award recipients Kip Anderson and Keegan Kuhn, Seaspiracy gives viewers a closer look into the US$10 billion industry. The eye-opening documentary directed by Ali Tabrizi has been lauded by the public as providing a pivotal change to their future dietary choices. Paul Watson of Sea Shepherd, a Shining World Hero Award recipient, is quoted in the film saying: “If you want to address climate change, the first thing you do is protect the ocean. And, the solution to that is very simple. Leave it alone.” Our sincere gratefulness and well wishes to the brave Seaspiracy team and contributors. May Heaven always shield you and all involved as you strive to protect the innocent and vulnerable sea life and our valuable oceans. Have you heard this joke before? Now you will, it’s called, “Solemn Promise.” “You know I can fight the world for you.” “But you only keep fighting with me.” “Because you are my world, darling!” And now we have a heartline from Emma in the United States: Dear Supreme Master TV team, I wrote a poem that I would like to share. It is for the animals who are suffering and waiting for help. It ties together the visible and invisible suffering of this world and writes of the hope that Heaven is taking care of it. Poem for my animal friends and forever support: When you lie down in that crammed, small cage. Unable to turn around. Lying in filth. Coerced beyond your physical, emotional, and mental limits. Separated from all love; surrounded by the coldness of life. When you thought it couldn’t get worse, there are voices who whisper to destroy what is left of the spirit, “This is everything you have deserved, did you think you were good?” When that happens, don’t give up. Salvation is coming. Just close your eyes and pray with us, with Heaven, and with Master. Heaven is furious at those who caged you and at those who whisper to justify the violence. Salvation is coming, salvation is near. When you struggle to keep your babies near, yet still have to watch helplessly as they are snatched away, chained, and caged. Over and over again, you suffer the highest pain of motherhood. Knowing they will suffer your fate, your heart breaks. In your weakest moment, those voices come back, seeing the opportune time, they chime, “This is your karma, these are your chains. All are what you deserve, don’t you know?” When that happens, don’t give up. Just close your eyes and pray with us, with Heaven, and with Master. Heaven is furious at those who cage you and those who cruelly watch. The Universe will see your freedom through. Salvation is coming, salvation is near. Salvation is coming, salvation is near. Emma from the United States Loving Emma, We are proud to share your moving poem with the world and pray that those who hear the words will be touched in the deepest part of their heart. May our dream of a peaceful, vegan world materialize soon. A world where words such as fear, pain and suffering are a mere distant memory. A world where salvation has finally come to answer all our prayers. In Master we trust. May your great country of America be a leader in creating a vegan planet, and may you and your nation be blessed a thousand-fold, Supreme Master TV team P.S. Here is Master’s reply just for you: “Benevolent Emma, your words draw tears from my eyes and my heart. It is evident that your poem is written with a profound love for the animals who suffer in silence daily in animal factories, labs, and other places of darkness where they are heartlessly abused and finally killed in an utterly cruel manner. Heaven does take note, and that is why we must pray for World Vegan. Please ask all in your circle to join us during the daily prayer time. May you and the fine citizens of the United States be surrounded by serenity, in God’s mercy. I LOVE YOU.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineIt’s been a pleasure to have your company on Noteworthy News. May the Divine bless your loving heart.

In today’s news, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai presents the Shining World Leadership Award for Caring to Warrnambool City Council and Shining World Hero Award to their two hero dogs in Australia, United Nations report to help countries reduce food waste, city in Arizona, United States, opens fire station designed to protect firefighters from cancer, Russian researchers install cosmic particle detector in world’s deepest lake, elderly Indian man with disability earns praise for clearing river of plastic, top vegan-friendly cities ranked for 2020, and almost extinct crane successfully returns to Britain. Shining World Leadership Award for Caring and Shining World Hero Award News from Australia… In 2006, there were less than 10 fairy penguins remaining on Middle Island, Victoria. The once-thriving population had dwindled due to fox predation, with the foxes able to cross to the island during low tide. When a local resident suggested that Maremma dogs could be trained to protect the penguins, a test run proved to be highly effective and led to Maremmas Eudy and Tula happily protecting the penguins for almost a decade. Dr. Patricia Corbett has been working on the project for the last four years. “So the older dogs are probably our best tool for training because they already know what to do. And they’re better to show the ropes and also tell the puppies off if they’re doing the wrong thing. We also take them around with us when we’re doing our penguin monitoring to get them used to the penguins. We ease into having them stay on the island when we’re not there. And it can take about two years actually to train a Maremma properly.” In acknowledgment of the love and vigilance shown in safeguarding the lovely penguins, Supreme Master Ching Hai presented the Shining World Leadership Award for Caring to Warrnambool City Council for their Middle Island Maremma Project plus US$30,000 for the “continuing preserving effort, with all love in God’s mercy.” Master also extended a “special thanks to Tula and Eudy plus the Shining World Hero Award and US$2,000 each for vegan snacks.” Our Association members in Victoria, Australia, cheerfully presented the Awards letters, crystalline plaques, Master’s financial gifts, as well as Her publications and DVDs to the representatives from the Middle Island Penguin Project Working Group and the hero dogs Tula and Eudy. “Today, we’re honored and privileged to present you this Shining World Leadership Award for Caring from the Supreme Master Ching Hai. … With compliments and gratitude for outstanding governance, wisdom and compassionate management.” “Our appreciation, for this is just enormous. The award comes at a very good time for us. And it will really help us to continue this wonderful conservation project. It’ll help us to maintain penguins on Middle Island, which is terrific for those of us that are passionate about conservation, but also for the whole of the Warrnambool community and the visitors that come to our town. So, we would like you to pass on our thanks to the Supreme Master. Thank you very much.” “And with this award, also the Supreme Master Ching Hai humbly contributes US$30,000.” “Thank You very much to Supreme Master. I reiterate the gratitude shown by our president, this comes at an extremely important time. We are going to purchase a vehicle specifically for the transport of dogs. We’ve been after such a vehicle for over three years without any luck, and the volunteers and the staff have had to be using their own cars, much to their detriment. This is a wonderful gesture. And we are extremely grateful.” “…Your love and vigilance to safeguard the lovely penguins, ensured the success of this brilliant method of conservation. Good on you. There is also a humble contribution of US$4,000 for the dogs to have some vegan treats.” “Thank You so much to Supreme Master Ching Hai. This is our beautiful Tula here who has retired and Eudy over here. They’re feeling quite happy to have received their awards and see that they can now have a little rest. They’ve also helped us train our new guardians, so they will forever live on. And thank You so much for this very generous contribution and for recognizing the incredible work that they’ve done for all of these years.” On behalf of the Middle Island Project Group, Dr. Anne Wallis also wished to share a special gift with Supreme Master Ching Hai. “On behalf of the Middle Island Project Working Group, we would like to show how much we appreciate what this award will do for our project. We’ve put together just a few little things here. It’s only little, but it’s from our heart. And from our heart, we know that Your contribution now will make a big difference to sustaining our project. And so we would like to say to the Supreme Master from our hearts: Thank You so much for what You have now done for the Middle Island Project. Thank You.” Our joyful congratulations to everyone in the Middle Island Project Working Group, including the brave Maremmas Eudy and Tula. May your compassionate work continue to protect the vulnerable penguins and ecosystems on the Australian coast. For the full presentation of the Shining World Leadership Award for Caring to Warrnambool City Council, and the Shining World Hero Award to Eudy and Tula, please tune in to our Shining World Awards program at a later date. United Nations report to help countries reduce food waste. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) partnered with the United Kingdom-based environmental non-governmental organization Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) to release the Food Waste Index Report 2021. It estimates that 17% of food available to consumers, or 931 million metric tons, is wasted yearly. The report, which uses data from 54 countries and is the “most comprehensive food waste data collection, analysis and modelling to date,” was completed to assist nations in fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goal of halving food waste by 2030. Reducing global food waste would decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 8-10%, decrease land conversion and pollution, plus strengthen food security while lowering costs for consumers. UNEP will initiate regional working groups to build food waste measuring capabilities and develop national strategies to prevent food waste. The United Nations is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership Award for Humanitarianism and two Shining World Leadership for Lives-Saving-Hero Awards. Thank you, United Nations Environment Programme and Waste and Resources Action Programme, for this insightful study. May we join together to better utilize the sustenance that the Divine gives us, thus improving people’s lives and our planet. Up next on Noteworthy News, city in Arizona, United States opens fire station designed to protect firefighters from cancer. We’ll just take a moment to thank the goldsmiths, who meticulously make dazzling jewelry that reminds us a little of Heavenly glory. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more visionary news. Good day, smart viewers, it’s Hendrick the vegan Honey Badger. Are you becoming a better person every day? I’ll bet you are, if your diet is vegan! If you live near coastal areas where old seashells are abundant, then you can use them in your garden mulch. Seashells prevent weed growth and also have other mulching benefits. They gradually release calcium to the soil as they decompose over time, which will aid your plants’ growth. First, wash the salt off so they don’t harm the plants. Then boil the shells in a big pot using clean water. Once done, take the shells out and crush them into small pieces. Next, pour these in a burlap bag and set the bag on the ground. Use a large hammer to further break up the shells to your preferred size. Then scatter the shells out to mulch your garden, or mix with other mulching materials. Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now it’s time for the worldwide weather. United States city takes steps to safeguard firefighters. The Fire Department in Goodyear, Arizona in the US recently opened Fire Station 186, designed to protect its staff from cancer, with plans to open two more in the future. Due to the nature of their work, firefighters encounter a high number of cancer-causing agents, leading to them having a 9% greater risk of developing the disease and a 14% increased risk of succumbing to it compared to the general population. New technologies adopted include a hose connecting to the firetruck exhaust, so the firefighters are not inhaling the fumes, while an air pressure system in the firehouse automatically closes doors and expels toxins. In addition, potentially carcinogenic materials are removed by high-powered washing machines, and areas in the station are color coded according to low and high risk. Our earnest applause and appreciation, Goodyear Fire Station 186. We wish cities everywhere will take note and pray that God will always protect these heroic personnel who selflessly come to others’ rescue. Special device detects particles arriving from outer space. Russian scientists, in collaboration with researchers from Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic, among others, recently launched a highly sensitive measuring device to detect tiny particles called neutrinos from outer space. The round-shaped telescope was placed deep inside Lake Baikal of Siberia, which is the world’s largest freshwater lake by volume. The high purity and depth of the water enables the detector to more easily observe the elusive cosmic particles that travel almost at the speed of light. Through the information gathered, scientists envision learning more about the neutrinos’ distant origin and the state of our universe billions of years ago. Fascinating news, researchers from Russia, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic and others. May we further understand our cosmos’s ancient origins and feel peace in pondering the underlying Divinity. Photograph of a senior gentleman with disability cleaning up a river in India touches many. Photographer Nandu KS posted on social media a captivating picture he had taken of 69-year-young N.S. Rajappan, whose legs are paralyzed, as he collected plastic bottles on Meenachil River in Kerala, India from his wooden boat. The image was quickly shared by thousands online who commended Mr. Rajappan’s longtime eco efforts despite his disability. Though earning only 17 US cents per boatload of plastic, Mr. Rajappan gladly plays his part, saying, “Somebody should remove the waste from the water… I am doing what is possible for me.” The humble gentleman has also received praise from public figures such as Indian Prime Minister His Excellency Narendra Modi. Wishing to uplift his life, people have gifted Mr. Rajappan with a motorboat and a motorized wheelchair, and are planning to build a home for him. Heaven bless you, N.S. Rajappan, for your noble spirit. Many thanks, Nandu KS and kind neighbors. May each of us be inspiring good stewards of our Earth and one another, in Divine love. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present the Shining World Earth Protection Award to N.S. Rajappan, plus a humble contribution of US$10,000 for any needs as you continue your caring endeavor, with love, best wishes and gratitude. May you be forever blessed in Heaven’s embrace.” Coming up, list of most popular cities for a vegan lifestyle is released. We’ll pause for a moment to enjoy an Aulacese, also known as Vietnamese, musical tradition called Nhã nhạc, a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity that was developed for royal court ceremonies. We’ll be right back with more laudable news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Benefiting News for a Happier World. Ranking of most vegan-friendly cities worldwide published. A list of the top 15 most popular cities for vegans in 2020 was compiled by the international food magazine Chef’s Pencil based in New York City, United States. The food magazine used Google Trends and Google Adwords to compile data of vegan-related searches made in cities globally. Based on this method, it found that the top five vegan cities were Portland, United States, at number one, followed by Edinburgh, United Kingdom, then Germany’s Hamburg and Berlin, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, respectively. The data also showed a large growth in the number of searches for vegan topics, which increased by 47% in 2020 over the previous year. Such wonderful news, Chef’s Pencil, of the ever-growing rate of interest in plant-based food revealed by your research. In the wisdom of the Providence, may this trend quickly continue until a vegan world swiftly dawns. Conservation efforts restore common crane numbers in the United Kingdom. A 2020 survey of the Eurasian common crane population in the UK found that there were 200-plus of the gorgeous birds, with 64 breeding couples producing 23 chicks last year. The species had become almost extinct in the UK approximately 400 years ago due to hunting and wetland habitat loss. Their welcome comeback has been enhanced by the Great Crane Project, a collaboration between the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, and Pensthorpe Conservation Trust, with financing by the Viridor Credits Environmental Company. The initiative, founded in 2010, has hand-reared and released young birds on the Somerset Levels and Moors, and is working to protect wetlands and restore peatlands to provide suitable sites for the growing population. Bravo, all involved in the Great Crane Project. May the magnificent common cranes thrive in Heaven’s protection. Here is a joke to massage your mind today, entitled “The Wrong Change.” After finishing his bank account business, Tom moved away from the counter window, counted his change, and then went back and said to the cashier: “Hey, ma’am, you gave me the wrong change!” “Sir, you stepped away from the counter. We don’t make corrections after you leave. There’s nothing I can do about it now. That’s the policy of this bank.” “Well, OK, I understand. Just thought you would like to know that you gave me an extra twenty dollars. Bye!” !? And now we have a heartline from João in Brazil: Hallo Supreme Master Television team! I would like to share a story about a non-vegan establishment in Brazil that recently converted to veganism. Managed by a couple, this house used to sell barbecue as one of its main dishes. It is located in a region that is known as the “barbecue land.” However, due to the wife’s influence, they started offering vegan options on Saturdays; then they extended it to every open night, and finally, they have announced on their social media that their restaurant has become totally vegan since June 1, 2020. I believe that Supreme Master Ching Hai’s Infinite Love makes the impossible possible. This is an example where we can see how the consciousness of the global citizens is shifting towards a planet without suffering for animals. Thank You, Supreme Master Ching Hai, for being the Light of the World in this time of struggles, and thank you, Supreme Master Television team, for your unwavering determination in sharing with the general public only constructive, loving, spiritual and uplifting information. João from Brazil Joyous João, We are ecstatic to hear about the incredible story of a meat-based restaurant turning full vegan in your country. As we celebrate this excellent event, we pray that everywhere else in the world will follow this upward trend in the adoption of the vegan lifestyle to benefit all lives. May Supreme Master Ching Hai’s life-long dedication to saving our world bring forth endless fruition. God’s Love and Blessings to you and the warm-hearted people of Brazil. In Divine magnificence, Supreme Master TV team P.S. Master has a message for you: “Hopeful João, many thanks and congratulations to the inhabitants of your country who are choosing to be exemplary citizens of the world, just like the couple you write about, who are creating positive changes to uplift others by serving vegan meals. May you and the affectionate Brazilians be blessed with goodness and fortune in Heaven’s Grace.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. In today’s news, United Nations Children’s Fund assists worldwide access to vaccines and syringes, new study links COVID-19 mortality with obesity, iconic Himalayan peak’s pristine state continues to be preserved, United Kingdom report shows plastic waste not declining, single mother on track to become the first Yolngu Indigenous lawyer in Australia, new vegan doughnut shop opens in Washington DC, United States, and Turkish man and swan accompany each other for over three decades. UNICEF assists worldwide access to vaccines and syringes. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has begun delivering syringes as part of the COVAX (COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access) Facility’s initiative that will help to ensure all countries have access to syringes as well as vaccines. In 2021, it is expected that the Facility will see two billion vaccines delivered to the 190 participating nations, in addition to one billion syringes. The syringes will be single use only, to ensure safety, and be used with the Serum Institute of India/AstraZeneca vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Our gratitude UNICEF and COVAX Facility, for your important life-protecting work. In the wisdom of Heaven, may all countries and international organizations support the fast shift to the vegan diet for the future safety of all beings. Death rates are higher for overweight COVID-19 patients. A recent study by the World Obesity Federation found that nations with large numbers of obese people have experienced the most deaths from the pandemic. Specifically, in countries like the US and UK, where more than half the adult population is overweight, fatalities have occurred 10 times more often than in a country like Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, where such issues afflict only about 18% of adults. While an individual’s age is still the principal coronavirus risk factor, this new report points out that a person’s weight is the number two concern. Many thanks, World Obesity Federation, for bringing this information to our attention. We pray that governments around the globe will take heed and require their citizens to be vegan – for the sake of their health and the survival of the planet. Up next, iconic Himalayan peak continues to be preserved. We’ll just take a little time to thank the genealogists, who study families to trace family history or their ancestry using interviews, birth records or through genetic analysis such as DNA tests. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more uplifting news. Hallo, virtuous friends, it’s River the vegan Ribbon Seal! As a kid, I always wanted to be a hero. And you know what? Now I am! By being vegan, I’m saving countless lives. Join me! I have a crafty tip for you today. Recycle your broken or old binders to use them as a key holder. Simply cut the cover off the binder and secure it’s metal part to any wall with screws. You can even attach it outside on the deck to hang grilling utensils, towels or anything else. Try brightening it up with paint and mounting it on a wooden base for a creative touch. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe. Himalayan peak’s pristine state continues to be preserved. Machhapuchhare Mountain – one of the most beautiful peaks nestled in Nepal - is restricted from being climbed. Also known as Fish Tail Mountain for its uniquely shaped twin summits, it has enthralled many local and international tourists to Nepal with its pristine beauty. It is rare in a country so popular for mountain tourism to have a peak remain untouched and untainted. This was made possible by a celebrated British Army officer renowned as “the father of trekking” in Nepal. Lieutenant Colonel James Owen Merion Roberts was fascinated with the mountain the locals considered sacred. After an unsuccessful expedition to the peak, Lieutenant Colonel Roberts requested the Nepali government to ban it from ever being climbed. They agreed, and the revered Himalayan summit continues to remain untouched. We honor your caring legacy, Lieutenant Colonel James Owen Merion Roberts. Thank you also, Nepal government, for your exemplary effort to maintain a natural heritage in its pure state. In Divine grace, may we all do our part to be good stewards of our precious Earth. New United Kingdom report shows plastic waste is not decreasing. The recent Checking Out On Plastics report from the non-governmental organizations Environmental Investigation Agency UK and Greenpeace UK noted that 10 leading supermarkets in the country sold products containing almost 900,000 metric tons of plastic in 2019. Furthermore, 2.5 billion plastic water bottles were also given away or sold, and over 1.58 billion reusable plastic shopping bags were sold. The report highlights that despite significant pledges by many companies, the actual amount of plastic being sold each year is fairly constant and not declining. It recommends national reuse systems and “transparency and accuracy supported by Government-mandated reporting.” Many thanks, Environmental Investigation Agency UK and Greenpeace UK for sharing this important information. We pray that sustainable practices and products will quickly be adopted in every industry, in the Heaven’s radiance. Indigenous woman set to become the first Yolngu lawyer in Australian legal system. Twenty-seven-year-old Kenisha Gumbula, an Aboriginal Yolngu woman from the remote Galiwin’ku community on Elcho Island in the Northern Territory of Australia, will be the first Yolngu lawyer in the nation’s court system upon graduating with a law degree in April 2021. A single mother of two young children, she has spent five years working as a community legal educator with the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency, while studying for her law degree at Charles Darwin University. Ms. Gumbula has been encouraged and supported by her family, especially her grandparents and mother, who helped take care of her children. She envisions providing a bridge between the Western and Aboriginal legal systems as well as being an inspiration to others to fulfill their dreams. Our applause on your remarkable achievements, Kenisha Gumbula. We wish you outstanding success in all of your endeavors, as you provide inspiration for many others as an exemplary role model, in the benevolence of the Providence. Coming up, first vegan doughnut shop opens in Washington DC. We’re going to pause now to be grateful for the unexpected moments that remind us to always hold on to our faith. More joyful news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Assuring News for a Gentler World. Customers line up for vegan donuts in United States capital. Donut Run, a 100% vegan donut shop, recently opened in Takoma, Washington DC, serving unique handmade, yeast-raised and cake-style donuts in twelve delectable flavors, with the offerings changing every day. The owners Shawn Peterson and Nicole Dao, a husband-and-wife duo, both vegans since 2007, found that within two weeks of starting their business, they had to hire additional staff to accomodate the long line waiting at opening time. Furthermore, they were selling out of some of their items, such as Apple Fritters, Boston Cream donuts and more, by noon. Though only providing take-out service during the pandemic, the business is flourishing. The dedicated vegan couple are thinking about expanding to another location and also opening a vegan restaurant. Congratulations, Nicole Dao and Shawn Peterson, on Donut Run! In Divine delight, wishing you and your vegan venture all the best. Turkish man and swan accompany each other for 37 years. One day in 1984, postman Recep Mirzan, now retired, found a female swan with a broken wing in Edirne Province in western Turkey. Mr. Mirzan brought the swan home to protect her from predators, and named her Garip. After the lovely feathered lady’s broken wing healed, she stayed with Mr. Mirzan at his farm in Karaağaç village and also became friends with the local cats and dogs. Garip spends most of her time following her caregiver around when he is doing his chores or taking his evening walks. A widower without children, 63-year-young Mr. Mirzan, who treats Garip like his own child, said the loyal swan has always stayed by his side and they have “never separated.” We are deeply touched by your devoted friendship, Recep Mirzan and Garip. May you continue to enjoy each other’s company for many years to come, in Heaven’s enduring love. Now, let’s kick back and relax with the joke of the day, “Good Incentives.” “Why has your performance not improved this year?”“To be honest, it is because I didn’t get good incentives.”“But why didn’t you get good incentives?”“Well, because my performance has not improved this year...??”And now we have a heartline from Kuan in Taiwan, also known as Formosa: Hallo, dear Supreme Master TV team, I am from Tainan, Taiwan (Formosa). In today’s news, International Monetary Fund approves US$50 million to help Sierra Leone cope with COVID-19, humans have adversely impacted over half of the world’s rivers, Australian study finds migrants follow sustainable living practices, Lahti, Finland wins prestigious European Green Capital Award, United States woman dedicates life to rescuing animals, BMW-owned car brand makes full switch to leather-free alternative, and cosmetic animal testing banned in Virginia, United States. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) supports Sierra Leone during the pandemic. The IMF has approved funding of US$50.37 million to assist Sierra Leone in meeting its fiscal requirements and critical balance of payments in the wake of pandemic challenges. Although the West African nation has taken decisive actions to contain COVID-19, it has still suffered significant economic setbacks. The contribution will assist government initiatives such as the Quick Action Economic Response Programme, which helps farmers, provides direct cash transfers to households in need, and supports employment in public works. Our gratitude, International Monetary Fund for your generosity and care towards the fine people of Sierra Leone. We pray that Heaven will guide Sierra Leone into an evermore prosperous and secure future. Study examines the impact of modern civilization on the world’s fresh waterways. Researchers from France and China recently completed a 10-year study into the adverse effects of humans on the world’s river and lake systems over the past two hundred years. Published in the journal Science, the data collected from 2,456 river basins revealed that over 53% of them − including the majority of the large rivers in North America and Europe − have been heavily impacted by our activities. This effect encompasses loss of species diversity and habitat destruction. It was estimated that only 14% of the rivers experienced little impact by humans, and those water bodies were usually located in the less developed regions of Australia or Africa. Many thanks, researchers, for your timely examination of the effects of our actions on the precious rivers. In Divine blessings, may we soon restore the natural environment on which our lives depend. Up next, migrants in Australia follow sustainable living practices. We’ll pause for a moment to thank the motor vehicle license clerks, who assist in issuing driving licenses and permits to qualified applicants after they’ve passed the necessary tests. When we return, more thoughtful news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television! Hallo, vibrant viewers, it’s Candy the vegan Rock Ptarmigan! People say my aura is soo bright. Guess why − because I am vegan. Try this Heaven-like diet and your aura will be too... Today, I have a cooking tip for you. Quinoa is a tasty and nutritious grain that can be used in many meals. However, after washing it using a colander or sieve, it’s difficult to get all of the little grains into a pan or bowl. To resolve this issue, you can use a French press coffee maker if you have one. Just pour your quinoa in the press and add some warm water over it. Plunge the quinoa down to the bottom and pour the water out. Then take out the plunger and scoop out the quinoa using a spoon or spatula. For any remaining quinoa left on the tools you’ve just used, you can easily rinse them, saving that rinse water as part of your cooking water. Thank you and love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. And thanks for tuning in. Now, the weather around the world! Australian migrants show that they care about the environment. Dr. Sukhmani Khorana and Claudia Sirdah, of Western Sydney University in Australia, conducted a local study in which they interviewed 17 migrants, both women and men, aged 18-40 years. The researchers found that, without even realizing it the new Australians practiced sustainable living in their daily lives such as by repurposing goods, having veggie gardens, and being mindful of water and electricity usage. In addition, five out of the 17 participants were vegan or vegetarian, with four of these individuals following a plant-based diet being second-generation migrants. Dr. Khorana concluded that migrants are interested in helping to protect the environment and should be welcomed more to join the greater society’s environmental movements. Thank you, Dr. Sukhmani Khorana and Claudia Sirdah, for recognizing newcomers’ positive contributions. We hope everyone joins in to create a greener, vegan world, in the love of the Providence. Finnish city named Europe’s Green Capital of 2021. The city of Lahti, Finland is this year’s winner of the prestigious European Green Capital Award from the European Commission. The country’s ninth largest metropolis of 120,000 people garnered the prize for reaching beyond its traditional industrial roots to reinvent itself as a sustainable city. Lahti is currently on track to be carbon neutral in four years, putting it a decade ahead of the rest of the country. It is currently home to nearly 200 animals, most of whom were unwanted or abused. Cows, ferrets, mules, horses, pigs, a tegu and many others are all lovingly attended to personally by Adri. Speaking of the change, Head of Design Oliver Heilmer shared that Mini will be able to redefine the concept of luxury and deliver high-end products by utilizing recycled materials. Moving forward, BMW has declared that a vegan leather known as Sensatec will be integrated into all of its 5-Series cars. The company is also currently developing an electric SUV. Our appreciation, BMW and Mini, for your wise moves. We agree that animal-free leather is as classy as it is compassionate, and hope more businesses will join the essential vegan way, in Heaven’s mercy. Virginia bans all testing of beauty products on animals. The state of Virginia in the USA has recently banned the testing of cosmetics on animals, as well as the sale of any beauty products previously tested on animals. The Virginia Humane Cosmetics Act was introduced by state legislators The Honorable Jennifer Boysko and The Honorable Kaye Kory, and was signed by Virginia Governor The Honorable Ralph Northam. It will go into effect on January 1, 2022. Sara Amundson, President of the Humane Society Legislative Fund, praised the new law, saying that cosmetic companies are listening to consumer demand and lawmakers are “solidifying these changes into permanent policy.” Virginia is now the fourth state in the US to enact this prohibition. Bravo, Senator Jennifer Boysko, Delegate Kaye Kory, Governor Ralph Northam and Virginia! Your humane actions lead to the sparing of many animal lives and herald a new loving age, in Celestial peace. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Respectfully present the Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion to the Government of Virginia, with high salute and gratitude for protecting the innocent animals. May God bless you and reward you multifold.” Ready for a joke that’ll make you laugh out loud? Here’s a fun one entitled, “Igloo.” Amka was bringing her friend Tanya to her igloo home for a visit. When they arrived, Tanya was puzzled and asked: "So where is your igloo?" "Oh no! I must’ve left the iron on!" And now we have a heartline from Marine in the Republic of Costa Rica: I feel very grateful to Supreme Master Ching Hai for raising the consciousness of the Planet, for Supreme Master TV, and coming to Costa Rica, where a lot of us received initiation, including my daughter, who was initiated when she was a little girl, and because her boyfriend easily understood Master’s message and he became vegan. I help rescue street dogs in my hometown, and I had an experience with one of them who was pregnant, and I called her Princess. On February 15, 2020, one very beautiful puppy was born to Princess. The next day I woke up early, and it was my birthday; I was excited, and I felt this puppy was a gift from God. I called him Jas because part of his white color is like a Jasmine. Due to lack of space, resources, time, and the number of dogs at home, and because we had to make room for more dogs to come, we decided we had to give some of them up for adoption, including Princess. Soon a person contacted us saying that Princess (Star is her real name) was lost about a year ago. Jas, my little puppy, looks a lot like his family. Although we did not know each other, when they came to pick Princess up, we were all happy when we met and shared anecdotes about our dogs. I understand that we are all a tool, a bridge that made possible Princess’s return to her home. I had the opportunity to know her past, which is not always the case with a stray dog. Marine from the Republic of Costa Rica Admirable Marine, We appreciate your lines. Our hearts are touched to hear that the dogs were well cared for through your loving actions, especially Princess (Star) who is now returned safely to her family. We pray to see World Vegan, World Peace coming soon, as we yearn for the day when all beings are treated with kindness and respect under the merciful Grace of Heavens. May you and the outstanding people of Costa Rica remember to find glory in God. In Celestial oneness, Supreme Master TV team P.S. Master has some words for you: “Meritorious and compassionate Marine, my appreciation to you for your caring actions of rescuing canines from the streets. Blissful Heavens are happy seeing considerate helpers like yourself. May God’s magnanimous Grace be with you and the kind-hearted Costa Ricans always.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. In today’s news, Haiti receives life-saving relief assistance from European Commission, new study shows British COVID-19 variant more lethal than previously understood, photographer captures recurring tree of life pattern appearing in Australian lake, carbon-absorbing skyscraper nearing completion in Taiwan (Formosa), Texas, USA couple gives delivery driver refuge from winter storm, successful Romanian plant-based meat company expands its product range, and Canadian team to monitor critically endangered right whales from space. European Commission (EC) aids Haiti’s vulnerable amid pandemic. The EC is contributing €14 million to Haiti, with an additional €3 million going to other Caribbean nations for humanitarian purposes. Approximately 40% of Haitians, or 4.4 million people, need relief assistance, with COVID-19 exacerbating their circumstances. In particular, the coronavirus has caused food prices to soar, creating deep food insecurity. The funds will address severe food shortages, support migrants and victims of violence, and boost the country’s resilience to natural disasters. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Kudos, European Commission, for your timely support. May the vibrant Haitian people soon overcome these challenges, in Heaven's boundless grace. British coronavirus variant deadlier than previously thought. A new study by researchers at the universities of Exeter and Bristol in the UK examined a COVID variant known as B.1.1.7, often referred to as the “British” or “Kent” strain. It has become the most prevalent type in the UK and spread to 94 countries. The investigation found B.1.1.7 to be between 32 to 104% more deadly than previous dominant coronavirus strains, while a prior study had found it to be just 30-70% more lethal. Other research has found it is 43-90% more contagious as well. The Exeter and Bristol authors have called for the monitoring of new variants as an important part of the public health response. Our appreciation, scientists, for this vital information. May we stop the pandemic now by rapidly adopting the lives-saving vegan diet worldwide in the mercy of the Providence. Up next, photographer captures recurring tree of life pattern appearing in Australian lake. We are going to thank the television producers that oversee various aspects of producing a TV show, including screenwriting, casting, directing, financing and budgeting. We’ll be right back with more splendid news on Supreme Master Television. Hi, joyful friends, I’m Ariana the vegan Arctic Wolf. I have a very good nose because I am vegan, and I can smell that you are vegan too. Wow, isn’t that fabulous? Now you are my buddy. I would like to share a tip on how to maintain the pressure in your car tires. Make sure you check the pressure monthly as all tires lose air. Consistency is key; therefore, you should always use the same pressure gauge for measuring. Also, perform this task first thing in the morning, not after the tires have been sitting out in the sun or you’ve taken your car for a drive. To determine what pressure level is needed, look in the owner’s manual or on the carmaker’s decal, usually located on the driver’s door or jamb, instead of the maximum pressure labeled on the tire. The recommended tire pressure is dependent on your specific vehicle’s weight, not the tread design or tire brand. Thank you for your attention, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Here’s the weather around our beautiful globe. Australian photographer snaps tree of life shape periodically displayed in lake. Since July 2020, amateur photographer Derry Moroney has been taking aerial pictures with a drone of what looks like the tree of life. It recurringly appears in Lake Cakora, located on the state of New South Wales’ north coast. The water’s dark color is caused by the nearby tea trees, which spread their oil into the water during high tide, and the water body’s drainage channels create patterns that resemble a huge tree. The tree’s color and size also change depending on the season and amount of water in the lake. The images have attracted considerable positive sentiments on social media. Way to go, Derry Moroney, for your fantastic photos of Lake Cakora’s beauty and the surrounding areas. In the Blessings of Heaven, may your tree of life photos bring feelings of connection to God to all those who see them. Green Taipei, Taiwan (Formosa) skyscraper nearing completion. Chelsea Timmons was delivering groceries to Nina Richardson and Doug Condon’s home in Austin, Texas, United States, when her car got stuck on their steep, ice-covered driveway. With worsening conditions, taxis and roadside assistance informed Ms. Timmons that the area was unreachable, and she became stranded. Ms. Richardson and Mr. Condon then generously offered Ms. Timmons to stay in their home, where she remained for five nights until the storm passed. Touched to tears, Ms. Timmons later shared the story in a Facebook post and stated, “God truly #Anchored me during this storm and sent me amazing Guardian Angels.” We are so glad you were kept safe and warm, Chelsea Timmons! Our hats off, Nina Richardson and Doug Condon, for your heartwarming example of hospitality. May we always extend a helping hand to our neighbors in times of need, in Celestial radiance. Critically endangered whale species to be monitored using space technology. Canada-based environmental and social service provider Hatfield Consultants is leading a team of researchers joining with the Canadian Space Agency for the “smartWhales” project. It will use satellite data to detect and predict the movements of the rare North Atlantic right whales in Canadian waters to prevent their collisions with ships and entanglement with fishing equipment. Upon gathering information of the right whales’ locations, it is envisioned that regulations such as limiting the speed of vessels in these habitat areas will be enacted. The smartWhales program is receiving US$4.2 million from the Canadian government that is to be shared by five companies involved in the project. In today’s news, Japan contributes to education for Syrian children, scientists study space hurricane over North Pole, researchers in the United Kingdom identify viruses endemic to human intestines, European Union supports project to upgrade hospitals in Morocco, doctor in United States drives through snowstorm to save premature baby, Dutch company introduces tempeh production system to India, and volunteers refloat stranded whales in New Zealand. UNICEF’s education initiative backed by Japan. The hardships inflicted by 10 years of crisis plus the coronavirus pandemic have drastically diminished learning opportunities for children in Syria. The government of Japan, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Generosity, and Animal Protection laureate, has donated US$7.8 million to support the efforts of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the country. The funds will be used to provide knowledge and skills that prepare young people for future employment. Additional priorities to be addressed are child protection services as well as ensuring that basic water and sanitation facilities are in place at schools and in communities. We sincerely appreciate your generosity, Japan, and applaud the ongoing commitment of UNICEF to the well-being of the population. In the abundant mercy of Allah, may Syria soon see brighter days with equitable opportunities for all. Scientists prove the existence of plasma storms. In August 2014, a concentration of magnetic field lines and solar wind energy combined to create a swirling auroral spot in Earth’s upper atmosphere above the North Pole. What is now being referred to as a “space hurricane” was detected at the time by satellites and only later uncovered by researchers at Shandong University in China and the University of Reading in England. The teams determined from a 3D computer simulation that the mass of ionized gas had a diameter of more than 1,000 kilometers, with multiple arms that rotated in a counterclockwise direction around a calm center. For almost eight hours it rained electrons into the Earth’s ionosphere, confirming the reality of such phenomena. Remarkable work, university scientists! We are at once awed by the mysteries of the physical universe and inspired to know their source. Up next, researchers in the United Kingdom identify viruses endemic to human intestines. We’ll take a moment to thank the toxicologists who study the safety and biological effects of drugs, chemicals, agents and other substances on living organisms. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more enriching news. Hi, adorable friends! I’m BJ the vegan Barred Eagle-Owl. Here’s some food for thought: People who are truly strong don’t put others down; they lift them up. That’s why we animals regard vegans as the strongest people in the world. Are you one of them? Now, here’s a tip on making a toy for your cat. Take a sock and fill it with catnip. Add a jingle bell and some crumpled paper. Close the end of the sock and secure it with a double-knotted shoelace. Finally, toss it over and let the fun begin! Thank you for tuning in and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world. Now, the global weather. New study explores components of the human bowel ecosystem. Not all viruses are harmful, and many that are endemic to the human gut actually help to regulate the microbial environment. For example, bacteriophages are a type of virus that can infect bacteria and contribute to our health. Recently, scientists at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and the European Bioinformatics Institute in the United Kingdom finished analyzing more than 28,000 gut microbiome samples from around the world. By using a DNA-sequencing method known as metagenomics, they were able to produce a catalog of almost 143,000 unique viral genomes. Their Gut Phage Database will be a valuable resource for future research into the role that bacteriophages play in protecting the lower end of the human digestive system. Well done, all participating researchers! Heaven surely smiles on your diligent service to humanity as more people nourish themselves with plant-based diets. Moroccan health services receive boost from European investment. The financial arm of the European Union, the European Investment Bank (EIB), has been backing key projects in Morocco for several decades. In response to the Moroccan Health Ministry’s recent hospital reform initiative, EIB provided a grant of more than €13 million and a loan worth €70 million. The funds were used to upgrade 16 of the Kingdom’s hospitals with modern infrastructure and equipment. One facility in particular, Hospital of Salé, was chosen to serve as a regional care center for COVID-19 patients. Our heartfelt appreciation, European Union, EIB and Morocco Ministry of Health, for taking steps to improve working conditions for medical personnel and outcomes for the precious patients. May the welcoming Moroccan people enjoy good health and fulfilling lives, in the overflowing love of Allah. Neonatal specialists risk their own safety for newborn. As winter weather was blanketing Texas, USA, with snow and ice, Kimberly Arias began having labor pains. She was only 24 weeks pregnant but gave birth to a tiny daughter at a nearby hospital. The infant, named Zaylynn, weighed just over 600 grams. The facility lacked the life support that premature babies need, so staff members called around for assistance. Finally, they reached Dr. John Loyd at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, 81 kilometers away. He agreed to load his SUV with emergency equipment and drive through the snowstorm with two experienced nurses to help little Zaylynn. Thanks to their expertise, the baby’s condition stabilized and she was transported by helicopter to Dell Children’s the next day. God bless you, Dr. Loyd, nurses and all involved personnel for saving Zaylynn’s life. We pray that Heaven’s choicest blessings will always be with you. Coming up, Dutch company introduces tempeh production system to India. We will take a moment to reflect on the magic of photosynthesis – converting light energy into chemical energy, creating carbohydrates from water and carbon dioxide, and generating oxygen as a byproduct. More gladdening news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Uplifting News for a Caring World. Plant-based foods specialist provides tempeh and jobs. Schouten Europe pioneered Dutch meat alternatives during the 1990s. The firm expanded over the years and delivers to customers in 50 countries. Now, it has launched an innovative production concept in Bangalore, India. Protein-rich tempeh is being produced in a small-scale fermentation unit (SFU) that is monitored for quality control from the Netherlands. This arrangement yields several benefits. The company can use domestic soybeans and help support local farmers. Distribution of the tempeh is limited to a radius of 10 kilometers, with 60% being packaged for sale and the rest going to meals for schoolchildren. Schouten Europe hopes to have at least 100 SFUs in operation by 2025 and will be employing hundreds of Indian workers and will pay them fair wages that will uplift their families. Kudos, Schouten Europe, for your enlightened business model! May more decision-makers consider the impact of their plans on the well-being of the planet. Stranded pilot whales in New Zealand are refloated. A 26-kilometer hook of sand called Farewell Spit has been the site of numerous strandings in New Zealand. Scientists theorize that a shallow seabed somehow interferes with the mammals’ ability to navigate. Recently, a pod of approximately 50 whales beached and needed help. Animal rescue organization Project Jonah, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, dispatched dozens of volunteers to push the animals back into the water. Sadly, at least 15 of the blackfish died, and 28 of the survivors got stranded a second time. Dedicated personnel from the charity refloated the pilot whales and rocked them gently from side to side, helping to restore their equilibrium. With the arrival of high tide, the pod reunited in the safety of deeper waters, to the relief of everyone. Awesome teamwork, Project Jonah! We pray that your service to marine mammals will inspire others to respect and protect our friends in the sea. Have you heard “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”? How about “Some laughter each day brings happiness your way”? Here’s a joke for you entitled “Wrong Question.” Glen and Amy Nichols decided to change the wallpaper in their apartment but didn’t know how many rolls to buy. Amy said to her husband: “Honey, I heard that the new tenant upstairs just repapered his place, and it’s the same floor plan as ours. Why don’t you ask him how many rolls he bought?” So Glen went upstairs and knocked on the man’s door. When it opened, Glen said: “Hi, I’m Glen Nichols from downstairs. My wife wants me to ask you how many rolls of wallpaper you bought for your apartment.” “16 rolls.” “OK, thanks a lot. Sorry to bother you.” So Glen and Amy bought 16 rolls, repapered their unit and were surprised to find they had six rolls left over. The next time Glen saw the tenant from upstairs, he said: “Hey, neighbor! My wife and I did what you said and bought 16 rolls of wallpaper. But when we finished the job, there were six rolls left over.” “Yeah, I had six extra rolls left too.” And now we have a heartline from Nature Lover in China: Hallo Supreme Master TV saints! A few months ago, I saw on the road a small bird that couldn’t fly. When I gently picked him/her up, the bird walked onto my fingers. While I was pondering where would be safe for him/her, the bird suddenly flew up to a tall tree. I then realized that the bird was extraordinary. After my students heard about this, they all said they would definitely help the animals in trouble. Attached is a picture of the bird and a poem. “Don’t judge by appearance While cycling, I saw on the road a bird. Thought he/she might have fallen and could not fly. Holding the bird in my hand, he/she was not scared. In today’s news, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai presents Shining World Compassion Award to Iraqi Australian humanitarian, COVID-19 antibodies offer significant protection from the virus, 99-year-young dancer raises funds for health service in United Kingdom, China debuts futuristic solar train station, big-hearted American student creates charity to help homeless children, vegan milk goes nationwide in Mexico, and Poland seeks to provide retirement benefits for police service animals. In Shining World Compassion Award News from Australia … Dr. Munjed Al Muderis is a courageous surgeon who has made great advancements in the field of osseointegration prosthetic limbs. Following his conscience, he fled Baghdad after receiving orders to perform harmful procedures on men who were brought to the hospital or face grave consequences. After finally settling safely in Australia, in 2010 he began his career in orthopedic surgery. His work in osseointegration is world-class, involving the development of revolutionary technology utilized to create prosthetic limbs. Dr. Al Muderis is also actively engaged in various efforts to help refugees. “Over the last six centuries, amputees have been treated by a socket-mounted prosthesis. This technology hasn’t changed over these centuries. It’s very inconvenient, it causes a lot of skin friction and a lot of excoriation, heat rash and blisters, and infection. Other problems are mobility and fit, and the patient that uses this prosthesis usually walks without feeling the ground. So, this revolutionary technology that we came up with is basically by skeletally attaching a titanium, high-tensile strength rod into the residual skeleton, similar to the alignment of what a normal body is like, and then connecting it through a small opening in the skin to a robotic limb. And in upper limbs, we hook up the nerves with myoelectric prosthesis so it becomes mind-controlled. This basically brings amputees as close as possible to being able to walk with normality. The vast majority of amputees feel that they have their life back. There is nothing more exciting than the smile and the tears of joy that I see on the faces of children when they see their parents walk again and being able to interact with them in a more natural way.” For his empowering work, our Most Gracious Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Appreciatively present Dr. Al Muderis with the Shining World Compassion Award plus US$20,000 as a humble token of support, (if allowed,) toward the refugee-foundation under his care.” She further added, “Thank you for giving so many the gift of happiness through independent mobility by your skilled hands and making our world more aware of the plight of asylum seekers and refugees.” Our Association members in Sydney, Australia, joyfully presented the Award letter, crystalline plaque, Master’s financial contribution, as well as Her uplifting publications and DVDs to Dr. Al Muderis. “You’ve travelled worldwide to impart your brilliant skills and technique, enhancing the lives of countless people through the surgeons you teach. Equally important is your work as a respected humanitarian and human rights advocate, saying, ‘I believe that we are all equal, we are all the same, regardless of our religion, background or color.’ Your love has led you on many self-funded missions to heal the body and hearts of traumatized people, rekindling their confidence…” “Supreme Master Ching Hai, thank You very much for this generous donation and for the award. I feel very humbled and very privileged to be chosen to have the award and the recognition; and I can assure You that this will help a lot to pursue the goals of helping people in need and people who cannot afford the treatment, and this will go further to support the humanitarian cause.” Our elated congratulations, Dr. Al Muderis and all involved, in this noble work. May the day come soon when everyone can live in peace and comfort, feeling Heaven’s radiant love. For the full presentation of the Shining World Compassion Award to Dr. Munjed Al Muderis, please tune in to our Shining World Awards program at a later date. Study highlights the protective effects of COVID-19 antibodies. Recent research published in the JAMA Internal Medicine journal has revealed that people who have recovered from the coronavirus and tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies had a much lower risk of reinfection. Conducted by the National Cancer Institute and the companies LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics, Aetion Inc. and HealthVerity, the study evaluated the data of over 3.2 million people from the United States. It was found that of the almost 12% of people who had received a positive result for coronavirus antibodies, only 0.3% of them became reinfected. However, of the people without antibodies, 3%, or ten times more, became infected. The study also noted that the immunity appeared to last for over 90 days. Our appreciation, all researchers involved. In Divine grace, may we protect ourselves and others through careful actions and the cultivation of the compassionate vegan lifestyle. Up next, 99-year-young dancer raises funds for health service in United Kingdom. Get your energy directly from the sun through plants. You will feel the difference. Try it; it’s the sustainable way. Be vegan! Today we have another delicious food tip from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Hi kids! Do you know how the English people eat vegan lamb chops with their meal? They use peppermint vinegar sauce. It’s very simple. You remember how I taught you to dry the peppermint in your refrigerator? Just wrap them in the towel, keep them in there for a few days and then they become dry and crispy. You can crumple them and put them in vinegar and spread it on your vegan lamb, vegan lamb chops. And then you enjoy it with gravy and potatoes, the way the English people eat them, or with noodles. If you have fresh peppermint, of course you can also use that with vinegar to make vinegar peppermint sauce. Or you can buy the finely chopped dried peppermint in the supermarket. Voilà! Simple and nutritious! Nowadays, we have all kinds of vegan stuff. It’s good for your health, good for the environment and saves the planet. So you are heroes! Enjoy! Remember to thank God before and after you eat. God Loves you kids!” We love You, Supreme Master Ching Hai! Many thanks for this tasty suggestion. We’re looking forward to trying it! Thank you for watching. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now the weather from around the world. Compassionate girl raises money to support children experiencing homelessness. Eight-year-old Peyton Anderson from Wisconsin, United States learned about children living without a home from her great-uncle, who also had faced similar circumstances. The initiative helps increase awareness of the situation and donates money, toys and more to various shelters. Peyton also sells “Every Child Deserves To Smile” t-shirts and self-made crayon hearts to fund her endeavor. The Polish Interior Ministry has proposed legislation to provide dogs and horses that have served the police, fire department and border guard with government-paid, lifetime living costs, including food and veterinary care, upon their retirement. Interior Minister, the Honorable Mariusz Kaminski, stated, “They are extraordinary animals. Thanks to them, many human lives have been saved and many dangerous criminals have been caught. Caring for them is our ethical duty.” Presently, over 1,200 dogs and 62 horses are working within Poland’s Interior Ministry. Once their retirement comes, their human partner would be given the choice to adopt them, or they could live at an animal care facility. Thank you, Poland, for your kind consideration. May all the selfless animals around the world, who bless humans in so many ways, be safe and loved, in Divine glory. We got something to relax your jaw muscle, please laugh! I also can compose poems spontaneously. I would like to send You a poem which I wrote during the Vegan Festival in November 2019: “Today is Vegan Festival Angels, Bodhisattvas descending on Earth Sounds of music resonating from Heavens God congratulates on a vegan Earth The Vegan Fest has lasted three days Park of Unity is filled with Love Hà Nội becomes Heaven Thanks to the blessings of the Buddhas in ten directions!”From the north to the south of the nation, there were hundreds of vegan chefs and vegan booths with a myriad of vegan dishes, which attracted tens of thousands of visitors who came to enjoy. Another delicious food tip from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai

Today we have another delicious food tip from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai:“Hi kids! Voilà! Simple and nutritious!Nowadays, we have all kinds of vegan stuff. It’s good for your health, good for the environment and saves the planet. So you are heroes! Enjoy! Remember to thank God before and after you eat. God Loves you kids!”We love You, Supreme Master Ching Hai! Many thanks for this tasty suggestion. We’re looking forward to trying it! Thank you for watching. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike.

Poland seeks to establish pensions for service animals

The Polish Interior Ministry has proposed legislation to provide dogs and horses that have served the police, fire department and border guard with government-paid, lifetime living costs, including food and veterinary care, upon their retirement.Interior Minister, the Honorable Mariusz Kaminski, stated, “They are extraordinary animals. Thanks to them, many human lives have been saved and many dangerous criminals have been caught. Caring for them is our ethical duty.”Presently, over 1,200 dogs and 62 horses are working within Poland’s Interior Ministry. Once their retirement comes, their human partner would be given the choice to adopt them, or they could live at an animal care facility.Thank you, Poland, for your kind consideration. May all the selfless animals around the world, who bless humans in so many ways, be safe and loved, in Divine glory.

In today’s news, Ethiopian refugees in Sudan receive life-saving relief packages, leading policy institute calls for a plant-sourced food system to halt biodiversity loss, Cambodian villagers exchange plastic waste for rice, New Zealand-manufactured wind machines help crops survive frosty winters, 12-year-old Canadian boy donates essential items for the homeless, Starbucks adds Beyond Meat to Middle East locations, and world’s first platypus sanctuary to be built in Australia. Qatar humanitarian organization assists Ethiopian refugees. Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, has provided food and necessities to 27,000 Ethiopian refugees at the Tunaydbah refugee camp in Gadarif State in Sudan. The displaced people were experiencing shortages ranging from water, food, and shelter, to youth protection and psychosocial support. In response to the dire situation, QRCS has delivered 2,500 food parcels, each weighing 44 kilograms, and 2,000 hygiene kits to 4,500 refugee families with a value of over US$1.8 million. In addition, QRCS has planned to provide an extra 1,000 food parcels and 2,180 relief kits that include kitchenware, blankets, soap, and other necessities, as well as install 300 permanent toilets. Our warm gratitude, Qatar Red Crescent Society, for your timely support to sisters and brothers in need. May peace soon emerge in the progressive nation of Ethiopia, as more people turn to a benevolent way of life, in Allah’s mercy. International policy institute recommends a plant-based food system to curb biodiversity decline. In a paper published by United Kingdom-based leading policy institute Chatham House, also known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the authors warn that livestock raising is accelerating the destruction of natural habitats and species, which are “crucial to human and planetary health.” Titled, “Food System Impacts on Biodiversity Loss,” the 75-page report proposed three “levers” to urgently help halt Earth’s rapidly declining biodiversity. First, we should promote more plant-based diets, as animal farming causes a “disproportionate impact” on “biodiversity, land use and the environment.” Second, we must protect more lands from agricultural use and restore them for nature. Third, enable less-intensified, sustainable farming by reducing food demand and moving away from “high impact food” such as red meat and dairy. Notably, all three recommendations are inter-related and dependent on a global “dietary change.” Many thanks, Chatham House and all researchers involved in this valuable study. For human and planetary survival, may all countries take quick and bold actions to bring about a vegan world, in Heaven’s omniscience. Up next, Cambodian villagers participate in a novel environmental clean-up program. We’ll just take a moment to thank car detailers who provide excellent service for cleaning both the interior and exterior of our car, including shampooing, vacuuming, washing, polishing and drying, to make our vehicle look almost new. Please stay tuned for more outstanding news on Supreme Master Television. Good day, elated viewers, I’m Wiley the vegan Wombat. It makes sense that when you eat foods with light and love, like raw fruits and veggies, your aura will naturally be radiant. So, let it shine and go vegan like me! I have a crafty tip for you today. Repurpose your old, unwanted, clean shower curtain by transforming it into an entertaining play mat that your children can enjoy. Let them make roads and cityscapes to play with their toy cars by encouraging them to draw and color on it using dry erase markers. Their creations can easily be wiped off of the plastic liner later and the curtain re-used for another wonderful play day. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for tuning in, and now for the weather around the globe. Cambodian villagers exchange plastic for rice in environmental protection initiative. Villagers of the floating Kampong Khlaing commune of Siem Reap Province in Cambodia have been gathering plastic waste from the Tonlé Sap Lake that they can exchange for rice. Organized by the Tampaing Snong Russey Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, the program is part of a conservation project to clean up rivers and lakes in Cambodia. The collected plastic waste is dried and shredded, and the resulting powder is combined with other materials, such as cement or sand, then shaped in a mold. The bricks will be used to construct a school and later to build sidewalks and a courtyard around the school. Fantastic idea, Tampaing Snong Russey Foundation and the Ministry of the Environment, for helping resolve pollution issues plus improving the lives of the villagers. May Buddha’s infinite love and blessings be with the Cambodian people always! Frost-negating wind turbines help crops survive through winter. The Netherlands-based agricultural machinery company Zeelandtrac is partnering with distributor Swift International to sell specialized wind machines to assist farmers in safeguarding their crops in the region. Manufactured by New Zealand company Tow and Blow, the product works by drawing warmer air at a slightly higher altitude into the cold air near the ground to prevent crops from being harmed by frigid temperatures. Durably built, a single turbine can keep crops safe on up to 4.5 hectares, while upgraded models underway are expected to protect seven hectares. The frost machines are currently used on hundreds of farms worldwide, saving valuable plant produce from seasonal frost damage. Way to go, Tow and Blow, Swift International and Zeelandtrac, for aiding farmers in enhancing crop yield! In Heaven’s radiance, may we learn more ways to effectively grow nutritious organic fruits and vegetables to feed a vegan world. Twelve-year-old boy donates essential items for homeless community members. Loghan Wallace from Oromocto, New Brunswick, Canada, assembled and donated 45 care packages containing masks, mittens, hats, toothpaste, feminine products and other essential items to Fredericton Homeless Shelters. A handwritten note saying “You matter!” was also included in each bag. After seeing a homeless man ask for change on a bitterly cold winter day, Loghan wanted to assist the homeless community and asked his peers and teachers at Harold Peterson Middle School to help gather essential items. The parcels were given to individuals at two homeless shelters and those in need on the street. Ever since his loving endeavor went viral on Facebook, thousands of people have made donations to the Fredericton Homeless Shelters. Our heartfelt appreciation, Loghan Wallace, for your selfless deed and compassionate message that provides warmth and support to our vulnerable co-citizens. May your love in action continue to inspire others to do the same, in God’s overflowing goodness. Up next on Noteworthy News, Starbucks brings vegan meat to their menus in the Middle East. We’ll just take a moment to be grateful for the opportunity we have to gain spiritual wisdom through the grace of the enlightened Masters, Saints and Sages. We’ll return with more refreshing news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Supporting News for a Bountiful World. Starbucks adds Beyond Meat to their menu in Middle East locations. The Starbucks coffee chain recently added two new sandwiches containing vegan Beyond Meat to over 200 of its stores across Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, due to increased demand for meat-free options. It is part of the coffeehouse’s steps to reduce their carbon footprint. Starbucks also offers a range of plant-based milks as they work toward decreasing their use of dairy, which was attributed to be responsible for 21% of their carbon emissions in 2018. Thank you, Starbucks, for your Earth-friendly efforts. In the light of the Divine, may more businesses strive to become carbon neutral and fully vegan for the well-being of all life on our precious planet. Australia to build world’s first platypus refuge. The Taronga Conservation Society and the New South Wales government of Australia have announced the development of a first of its kind platypus sanctuary to be completed in 2022. Prompted by the 2019-2020 Australian bushfires that caused an estimated three billion animal fatalities, the sanctuary will be used for rescue, rehabilitation and research to prevent the precious species from extinction. The dedicated facility made of ponds and burrows will be able to house up to 65 of the semiaquatic mammals. New South Wales is a recipient of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Protection; as well as a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Caring laureate. Our gratefulness, Taronga Conservation Society and New South Wales government, for all your work in protecting the iconic platypuses. May humanity quickly adopt the climate-saving vegan diet, so that our wildlife co-inhabitants can stay safe and live peacefully in their natural environments. Please sit back and relax with the joke of the day called, “Pregnancy’s Wonder.” When Mary was pregnant, her five-year-old daughter, Lilly, was utterly amazed and a little bit disbelieving that her sister was growing in her mom’s tummy. So one day when the baby was especially active, she asked Lilly to place her tiny hands on her tummy to feel the baby kick. “But I don’t feel the baby moving now, Mom!”“Oh, Lilly, she must have decided to take a nap.”“A nap? You mean there’s a bed in there too?”And now we have a heartline from Tu Po in the United States: Hi Master, My name is Tu Po. I’m 5 years old, and I’m vegan to help save animals and the world. I meditate every Sunday morning with Master, Mommy and Daddy for World Vegan because I love animals and want the world to be vegan. I also help Mommy and Daddy at Loving Hut every day. Master, can You give me a UFO to fly to other planets to play with other beings on those planets? Thank You, Master. I love You. Love, Tu Po from the United States P.S. Mommy and Daddy love You too. Caring Tu Po, Supreme Master Ching Hai has a message for you: “Pure little Tu Po, what a wonderful picture your words paint, and I wish all children may know the sentiments you so beautifully express.
