The Amazing Love of Animal Mothers

No matter the species, mothers lovingly feed, zealously protect, and gently discipline their young. Nothing compares to the pure and selfless love of a mum for her babies. In today’s program, we will feature some heart-touching animal mothers’ stories, in honor of all the moms around our world. In mid-January 2020, a koala mum was found by Dr. Miller and firefighters clinging to a burned tree. She was tightly embracing her joey. The mom wouldn’t leave the spot and chose to stay there because her instincts urged her to protect her baby in this manner. The water makes the baby hesitate, and mom waits for him to move forward very understandingly. The park visitors witnessed how gentle the elephant mother was in encouraging the little one. She walked back and forth to reassure her baby, “I am here, It is safe to go.” Many times the mom crossed the stream and calmly waited for her calf to catch up. With his mother’s love and guidance, he managed to reach the other side!
