Before I do an act, I always aim to bring real emotions when practicing my lines. That helps me control and express them as needed for each scene. This always reminds me of the advice from our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), about mastering our body, speech, and mind through meditation, originally shared in a lecture in Taipei, Taiwan (Formosa) on April 20, 1991.
“We have to train our body, speech, and mind until they do exactly what we want them to do. If we want it to cry, it can cry immediately. It can also laugh if we want it to, for instance. Then it will become natural, and we can cry or laugh when appropriate. When it is appropriate, we can be angry, or laugh, or be gentle, as we wish. We have completely mastered ourselves. At that time, whatever we do is beneficial to the world. It is not difficult at all for us to attain this level. All we need to do is to meditate with the Quan Yin (inner Heavenly Light and Sound) Method.”
Thank You, Dearest Master, for Your wise Guidance and the valuable training that helps us improve our lives.
