Today, we will begin our journey in Maharashtra, India, to meet Mangal Shah, the founder and director of Palawi, an organization that gives a ray of hope to children diagnosed with HIV. Palawi extends a loving home to these neglected children and equips them with vocational skills to build self-reliance when they return to society. Upon learning about the noble project, our most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Mangal Shah along with a humble contribution of US$10,000 to support this benevolent work, with lots of Love and best wishes, in God’s Mercy. May you, all the staff, and the precious children be showered with Heavenly happiness and grace.”

Our next Shining World Award recipient is Vibha Tomar, an altruistic veterinary student from Delhi, India. This animal-people lover founded the Oscar for Life Charitable Trust, which was named after the peaceful passing of her beloved animal companion, who taught her the true meaning of unconditional love, loyalty, and devotion. Touched by her tender-hearted love for the animal-people, Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Happily present the Shining World Compassion Award to Vibha Tomar plus a humble contribution of US$10,000 to support this benevolent work, with all love and gratitude. May Heaven protect and bless you and all involved in caring for the vulnerable animal people.”

Our last destination for today introduces us to the founder of Mehrtabiat Shelter in Iran, Saeed Javeheri Zarrin. A former artist and painter, Saeed decided to make a career transition when he discovered his boundless love for dog-people and cat-people. He has rescued an estimated 500 lives, including those injured and abandoned in terrible conditions. Moved by his big heart for the canine-people companions, our Cherished Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Saeed Javaheri Zarrin, plus a US$10,000 humble contribution to support your caring work for the sweet canine-people, with Love, gratitude and best wishes, in Allah’s Blessings and protection.”
