And now we have a heartline in Mandarin Chinese, with multiple-language subtitles, from Yu-Hang in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
Hallo, dear Quan Yin Family fellow initiates. I am a 22-year-old initiate from Taiwan (Formosa). What I am sharing today is not pleasant news. After class this evening, while browsing online, I came across the process of harvesting wild honey and found it extremely cruel. Before this, I had never imagined that the wild honey consumed by humans is obtained from bees in such a bloody and violent way.
As a design student, I deeply understand the difficulty and hardship involved in the creative process. In the video, one can see bees desperately using their bodies to block the entrance of the beehive, protecting the masterpiece of their hard work. Yet they were struck and knocked down from the cliff by the honey collectors. The honey, which they have worked so hard to gather, which they might not bear to eat themselves, and might even need it to feed their newborn baby bees, is being forcefully cut away piece by piece by the honey collectors. This makes me feel indignant and saddened for them. That is food that originally belongs to them — the result of their hard-earned harvest. It is unimaginable how they will survive the days of hunger that may follow. Yu-Hang from Taiwan (Formosa)

Empathetic Yu-Hang, Thank you for sharing this important information about how cruel honey collection is to the bees. Honey is often an ingredient that some who claim to be “vegan” will make an exception for because they do not consider the bees’ suffering as intense as it actually is. We can’t hear the insects scream or see the anguish on their faces. But as you point out, they do endure much hardship and try to protect themselves when the honey is removed. Hopefully, humans will soon become more sensitive and refrain entirely from all animal-people products, including honey, so no beings will have to suffer for our consumption habits. May you and the intelligent people of Taiwan (Formosa) find profound peace in the Teachings of the Masters, Supreme Master TV team
