I wish I had more time to study kung fu more, or practice. But because I studied Buddhism since I was young, I thought I should not have a penchant for violence. But you should be able to also defend yourself. It would be good. I think all Indian girls should learn kung fu. The best thing in kung fu that they always teach you is not to be too overconfident. If you can punch the guy down or swipe him down a little bit, then run. Don’t stay there and say, “Ah ha! Photograph?” Because he might get up and get angry. And the feeling of being cornered and being pushed down, that will make him strong. You’d better run. I don’t like sissy women. I like women to be strong. If not equal to men, at least better than other women. Be strong, be confident. You can kick as good as you write. I love this kind of woman. Make me proud. In Âu Lạc (Vietnam), we say “he excels in both literature and martial arts.” It means you can write; you are also good at literature, as well as kung fu, at martial arts. Pretty cool.
