In December 2010, during the COP16 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cancún, Mexico, a special artistic event was held. “The Greenest Heroes Gala” celebrated champions of the environment in halting global warming through the vegan way. As the event was organized in a short time, the guest stars didn’t have much time to make arrangements but stopped everything for the noble cause of saving the planet. Deeply touched by their enthusiastic support, Supreme Master Ching Hai spontaneously invited them to a cordial vegan brunch just hours before the gala.
