Let’s first meet a compassionate American vegan animal-people rights activist. Eder Lopez is the vice president of the non-profit Animal Alliance Network, one of the 700 chapters of the Animal Save Movement, which holds vigils outside slaughterhouses throughout the world. The objective of the organization is to “educate, take action, do outreach, and spread awareness of the daily atrocities animals endure due to human practices.” Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present Eder Lopez of the Animal Alliance Network with the Shining World Compassion Award, plus US$10,000 to humbly support his endeavor to raise the public’s awareness of animal-people cruelty and exploitation. May you and all involved be forever loved by the Divine.”Now we journey to Bulgaria to meet a remarkable person who grew up in orphanages. Despite the difficulties he faced as a child, Boyko Grenzke was able to channel his negative experiences and turn them into something positive and constructive. The loving man founded the Oscar and Lora Center in his hometown, with a compassionate heart to rescue injured, unloved, and abandoned pet-people. On hearing of his exceptional love for the four-legged friends, Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Boyko Grenzke, with a humble token of support of US$10,000 for the Oscar and Lora Center, with all love and gratitude.” The last Award today is to honor a respected 87-year-young homeopath who continues to provide treatment to patients in remote villages in India. Ramchandra Dandekar, affectionately known as “doctor” by his patients, has been delivering Ayurvedic and homeopathic health treatment to locals in his home district of Chandrapur, Maharashtra, for more than six decades. When learning of his benevolent deeds, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Ramchandra Dandekar, with a humble contribution of US$10,000 in support of your benevolent work, with all love and gratitude in Divine grace.”
