And now we have a heartline from Irfan in Malaysia:
May Blessings be upon Esteemed Master and the Supreme Master TV team. I would like to share an experience: In 2024, my friends and I traveled to Malaysia and Thailand. It happened to be the Nine Emperor Gods Festival. During this period, many non-vegetarian restaurants switched to serving vegetarian food for 10 days. Since I was traveling abroad and saw so much vegan food, I relaxed and lost my vigilance. One day, I dined at several vegan restaurants but bought some snacks from a vendor. The vendor confessed that he normally sold non-vegetarian food, but changed to sell vegan food during the festival period. I didn’t think much of it and ate the snack. That night, I entered a maze-like dark realm with dark beings constantly moving around. I held onto my friend and kept trying to find an exit. I silently repeated Master’s Name and finally woke up before nearly shouting out loud.
Upon waking, I realized that it was because I ate something impure. I immediately repented and thanked for Master’s help. I recalled what Master had said in a lecture: “The practitioners should take care to eat pure food. And if you feel that you still have bad karma, then change to the karma-less food that I have taught you on the Supreme Master Television to be sure. That will help you to lessen the bad karma. Initiation is to give you the privilege of enlightenment and to enter sainthood, but you are responsible to take care of that privilege.” (From the lecture “God Takes Care of Everything.”)
I would like to ask Master: if we have to eat vegan food while out, how should we choose it? I think that, even if we have chosen vegan meals, to ensure that the food is not contaminated, under the circumstances that we cannot cook for ourselves, we should choose eateries according to the following order of priority: First, vegan restaurants (even if their food contains onions and garlic); second, Indian restaurants (which may contain onions and garlic, but no eggs, though they might have dairy products); and finally, vegetarian restaurants that serve eggs. Is this order appropriate? Finally, I sincerely pray that humankind will soon turn to the vegan diet, so that the Earth may soon reach a state of peace and beauty. Thank You, Master, for Your Blessing and protection. A disciple who loves You, Irfan from Malaysia
Discerning Irfan, It is unfortunate that in our world, vegan food is not the only food available. Until then, we must be diligent and eat at places that truly honor the purity of veganism. We hope you never experience anything like what you recounted in your story ever again. May you and glorious Malaysia find peace in Heaven’s upliftment, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master has a reply for you: “Intelligent Irfan, thank you for being conscientious about the vegan lifestyle, though it’s not always easy on the road! When eating in a place that is not vegan, we always risk eating contaminated food. That is why it is best to find fully vegan restaurants when dining out. Your priority list for finding a good vegan meal is appropriate. Onion and garlic are not forbidden, by the way, for lay practitioners. Just in the ashram, they may not be preferable, as the strong smell will be hard for others around to tolerate. Even just eating a little bit of contaminated food caused you to have a troubling inner vision. Imagine what happens to people who eat animal-people flesh every day. That’s why it’s of the utmost importance that everyone goes vegan now so that our world can become a true paradise the way it was intended to be. May you and the friendly Malaysian people be filled with the Wisdom and Love of Allah. Love you forever!”
