In today’s news, Iranian and Italian non-governmental organizations support disadvantaged through sustainable farming development project in Iran, scientists potentially have received first radio signal from exoplanet, United States-based startup develops safe alternative to pesticides that doesn’t harm insects, study shows face masks block majority of large droplets for added COVID-19 protection, wheelchair-bound seven-year-old boy saves family from carbon monoxide leak, vegan shoes get NASA technology upgrade, and Korean organization creates dog caring jobs for older individuals.

Iranian and Italian NGOs bolster disadvantaged with sustainable agriculture initiative.

The three-year SPRING (Strengthening Civil Society Organization’s Participation for a Responsible and Inclusive Agriculture Growth through Development of Rural Cooperatives) project has successfully concluded in Iran. This program was a collaboration between Iranian NGO (non-governmental organization) SPASDI (The Society for the Protection and Assistance Of the Socially Disadvantaged Individual) and the Italian NGOs Haliéus and Legacoop, and was co-financed by the European Union. The initiative’s goal was to enhance the ability of cooperative associations to encourage sustainable development by assisting rural producers of crops like dates in portions of Kerman province, with a special focus on women and youth. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Bravo, all involved, for your friendly cooperation to promote the empowerment of Iranian society’s vulnerable members. May the welfare of all participants continue to be uplifted in Allah’s care.

Scientists find possible first-ever exoplanet radio emissions.

Using the Netherland's Low Frequency Array radio telescope, an international research team, led by Cornell University, USA’s Dr. Jake Turner, has detected a weak radio signal from the Tau Bootis star system that is 51 light-years away from Earth. These are the first radio emissions believed to be from a planet beyond our solar system. It is thought that the signal was created by a stellar wind that bounced off the planet’s Jupiter-like magnetic field, which for habitable planets like Earth, helps protect the atmosphere and surface from charged solar particles and cosmic rays. The observation offers a new method for detecting planetary bodies that could potentially sustain life under our current scientific understanding. We applaud Dr. Turner and all scientists involved for your exciting discovery. In the Grace of Heaven, may your continued research help to deepen our understanding of the worlds beyond.

Up next, United States-based startup develops safe alternative to pesticides that protects crops without harming insects. We’ll just take a moment to thank the engineers who design bridges and monitor existing bridges’ safety to ensure they can withstand extreme temperatures or possible calamities like earthquakes. We’ll be right back, with more informative news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, smart viewers, it’s Geraldine the vegan Greater Glider! Want to look like a movie star? Adopt a vegan diet, and you'll look like a million bucks! If you plan on walking trails with creek crossings, go prepared with waterproof shoes or boots. If you don’t have any and your normal shoes get wet, when you return home, just use recycled paper or junk mail to stuff in your shoes down to the toe box to help soak up the water. You can recycle the paper afterwards. Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now it’s time for the worldwide weather.

Organic alternative to pesticides protects crops without harmful effects.

United States-based startup Crop Enhancement has developed a safe alternative to pesticides that does not hurt people, plants, the environment, insects or animals. The organic CropCoat product is sprayed onto plants and forms a biodegradable film that makes them “unavailable” to insects. One coating can last for up to 6 weeks and has been tested in over 100 field studies. CropCoat costs around the same as current pesticides, making it even more suitable for an eco-friendly switch. The protectant is available in Indonesia and may be sold in the US starting in 2022. Way to go, Crop Enhancement, for your new product to help safeguard our food crops while ensuring that everyone as well as our insect friends are safe. In the radiance of the Providence, may offerings such as yours quickly replace conventional pesticides to secure the sustainability of life on Earth and better health for all.

Research demonstrates face masks block almost all large droplets.

A study by the University of Edinburgh School of Engineering in Scotland, United Kingdom, has revealed that face masks effectively stop the transmission of 99.9% of the larger respiratory droplets, which are thought to be the main transmitters of COVID-19. Using mechanical mannequins and humans, it was observed that a person standing two meters from a coughing person not wearing a mask resulted in the nearby individual being exposed to 10,000 times more large drops than if standing 50 centimeters from a coughing person wearing a mask. The findings have been published in the journal Royal Society Open Science. Thank you, University of Edinburgh engineers, for helping to highlight the immense benefits of wearing face masks. In the Wisdom of God, may all people choose to wear masks to help end the pandemic and ensure the protection of others.

Courageous youngster crawls upstairs to rescue entire family.

Seven-year-old Michael Martinez of Texas, United States, who is wheelchair-bound due to cerebral palsy, was awakened by a beeping alarm late one evening. Michael’s mom, dad, aunt and three cousins were all sleeping in the house. Scared and shaking, the determined youngster crawled up the stairs to alert his parents. They soon discovered that the carbon monoxide detector had been set off by the odorless, poisonous gas coming from the stove. The family then immediately left the house, with his mom Angie Martinez and her sister already experiencing symptoms from toxic gas. Michael’s mother said, “He’s our little hero. He saved our family.” A GoFundMe page has been established to provide Michael with a powered wheelchair, while his long-term goal is to be able to walk. You are a brave young man, Michael Martinez! Heaven bless you. May your wish to walk be fulfilled, in God’s infinite love. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Happily present Michael Martinez the Shining World Hero Award for your lives-saving deed, plus a loving US$10,000 for your new wheelchair and any medical care needs, with heartfelt praises. May you and your family be shielded forever in God’s grace.”

Coming up, vegan shoes get NASA technology upgrade. We’ll step outside for a moment to appreciate the orchids that are growing on the trees in our garden. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more assuring news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Noble News for an Uplifting World.

Vegan shoe brand incorporates NASA technology.

A Thai vegan shoe fashion brand called HEXA, whose products are approved by the Shining World Compassion Award recipient People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has recently incorporated unique National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Certified Space Technology into its new range of shoes and sandals. Called Outlast, this new system helps regulate the temperature of feet and avoid blisters, with the wearers’ feet remaining comfortably dry in tests done in Bangkok’s heat of around 32 degrees Celsius. HEXA says it endeavors to offset production emissions and reduce other manufacturing impacts to ensure a minimal environmental footprint. Kudos, HEXA, on your remarkable vegan designs to keep people’s feet comfortable year round. In the Blessings of the Divine, may all shoes and clothing soon be made in a cruelty-free way to make sure our animal friends and planet are rightly protected.

Korean organization offers older individuals animal caring jobs.

The Seoul 50 Plus Foundation in Korea has created a program with a local company to match working people in Seoul requiring care for their canine companions to those in the 40 to 67 age group needing employment. The applicants must have had previous experience with looking after animals, and they are provided additional training as well. The sitters will ensure dogs are not left at home by themselves and be paid between US$27 and US$36 for 12 hours of care. Such a thoughtful project, Seoul 50 Plus Foundation, to make sure the beautiful dogs in your city are adequately cared for while their human buddies are at work. In the Love of Buddha, may the dignified people of Korea and their animal friends be blessed with good fortune and health.

When we relax, we can think clearer, so let’s have fun with the joke of the day entitled “Best Man’s Speech.”

Ryan asked his wife for a piece of advice:

“I’m going to be the best man at my buddy’s second wedding. Is it appropriate to open my dinner speech with, ‘Welcome back, everyone!’?”

And now we have a heartline from Jin-Er in China:

Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai and Supreme Master TV team: Greetings! As usual, I woke up this morning and watched Supreme Master TV and heard that the “heartline” broadcasted was my previous submission, to which Master gave me Her personal response. Thank You, Master, for Your Grace and encouragement. I’m so overjoyed! The day my heartline was broadcasted happened to be the first day of my child’s school reopening after the shutdown due to COVID-19. As we’re on a pandemic alert, the school applied special protection measures and asked all students to eat on campus, and outside food was not allowed to enter, which made it uncertain whether my child could eat vegan food in the school or not. Late last night, before the school reopened, we were still negotiating with the school administration about sending vegan food to our child. Meanwhile telling our child that she should not be afraid of letting the school know that she’s a vegan, and not to worry about the curiosity and inquiries of classmates, but to use good manners and wisdom to positively tell and advise people around about the benefits of veganism. My child did take the matter with ease and showed her calmness in revealing her status as a vegan. While negotiating with the school, the teachers were somehow influenced to have different concepts about diets. This morning they confirmed that we could send vegan lunch boxes to our child. So, you could imagine how happy and excited I am now, that in the same morning I not only heard the heartline that I’d sent before about the spiritual education of my child but also the school gave us their understanding and consent. God really is with us and taking care of us at all times. May more and more people be awakened to understand the bad karma of killing and the importance of veganism and environmental protection so that veganism will become the choice of everyone! Respectfully, Jin-Er from China

Thankful Jin-Er, Our appreciation for sharing your experience that demonstrates we are indeed connected to Master at all times. So blessed are we to have such support and Love in our daily lives. Kudos to your child’s school for allowing the vegan lunch boxes to be delivered!  May Heavens bestow Divine Love and comfort to you, your loved ones, and the exquisite Chinese people. Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has some words for you: “Resolute Jin-Er, I am very happy that you advocated for your child and convinced the school administration to allow outside vegan food on campus. It is also good that you explained to your daughter that she should tell others at school that she follows a plant-based lifestyle and why. May Buddha’s big Love be with you, your family and diligent China.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

We sure have enjoyed spending time with you on Noteworthy News. May your days be graced with joy and benevolence.
