In today’s news, Ireland supports Eritrean children, Iraq receives pandemic assistance from Japan, green energy development increases in Indonesia, New Zealand to boost refugee family reunification, boy’s walk for charity touches hearts in United Kingdom, Swedish food tech company to offer vegan seafood options, and rescued fighting dogs paired with inmates for second chance in United States.

Ireland supports health and nutrition in Eritrea.

The government of Ireland’s official international aid program, Irish Aid, has donated €1 million to UNICEF Eritrea for its 2020 Humanitarian Action for Children. Medical interventions for children include nutritional supplements for malnourished youth under the age of five, basic medicines for 30,000 children, and vaccines for 50,000 children will be backed by the funding. Medical training of 250 community health workers for women and children in remote areas will also be supported. In addition, the contribution will be used towards 150 handwashing facilities in schools and health centers, and a new solar-powered water system to increase safe drinking water access for 1,500 people. Since 2015, Ireland has donated €5.5 million towards improving the lives of women and children in Eritrea. Our warm gratitude, Ireland. God bless you! In Heaven’s grace and protection, may Eritrea advance in health and prosperity.

Japan supports Iraq’s response to COVID-19.

The government of Japan, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate, has donated US$2.26 million, in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme, to assist Iraq during the global pandemic. The funds will cover medical equipment including ventilators, personal protective equipment for healthcare workers, increased testing capacity, and the building of isolation units. In addition, Japan’s donation will contribute to meeting socio-economic needs, assessing post COVID 19 recovery strategies, and encouraging solidarity among communities. Much appreciation and Heaven’s blessings, Japan. Many thanks also United Nations Development Programme. With your vital help, may the precious citizens of Iraq flourish in mental and physical well-being to step into a golden future, in Allah’s light.

Up next, green energy development increases in Indonesia. We give thanks to ethical hackers who work with companies and organizations to improve the security of their computer systems. We’ll be right back, with more outstanding news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day inquisitive viewers, it’s Gerald the vegan Giant Technicolor Squirrel! The secret of my cheerful attitude is the vegan lifestyle. It’s a noble choice. I never regret. You’d surely like to be like me, so what are you waiting for, go vegan today! Here is a little tip for you on how to fix shrunken clothes. First, fill a bucket or washbasin with lukewarm water and then mix in 15 milliliters of baby shampoo or softening conditioner into the water. Soft shampoo and conditioner can relax the fibers in clothing without damaging them. Soak the shrunken clothes in the water for 30 minutes. Next, while they are wet, lay the piece of clothing on a thick towel and roll the clothes in the towel to absorb as much water as you can. Then, gently stretch the clothes on a flat surface, reshape it the way you want, and let it dry. To prevent shrinkage, be sure to read the care label before washing any new items. Also, wash with cold water, because too much heat is the most common cause of shrinkage. Always choose natural air drying when possible. If you need to use a tumble dryer, then always choose a low temperature to save energy. Thank you for watching, and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Indonesia receives funding to expand geothermal energy development.

To help support construction of two new geothermal plants in Indonesia, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a US$300 million loan for state-owned geothermal energy firm PT Geo Dipa Energi. Under the umbrella of the Geothermal Power Generation Project, the power plants, which will be built in Central Java and West Java, will expand the country’s present 2.1 gigawatts capacity by up to 110 megawatts. The endeavor will help ensure a sustainable economic recovery, as well as reduce over 700,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually. Indonesia, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion Laureate, has pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 29% by 2030. We applaud you, Indonesia, and thank you, Asian Development Bank. In Heaven’s forever love, may the planet and all her cherished inhabitants heal and grow in an eco-friendly world.

New Zealand reunifies more refugee families.

The New Zealand government has allocated over US$13.7 million over the next three years to allow for 600 refugees, a doubling of the previous limit, to be reunited with family members who had already settled in the country. The funds will also be used to provide support for the new arrivals. Praising the new ruling, New Zealand’s Green Party’s Immigration spokesperson, The Honorable Golriz Ghahraman, known as the first refugee to become a Member of Parliament of the country, said, “This commitment to reuniting families who have been forced to flee their homes shows real compassion and kindness, values we hold dearly in New Zealand. It sends a clear message to refugees that they, and their families, are welcome in Aotearoa [the Māori people’s name for New Zealand].” New Zealand is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Earth Conservation, Earth Protection, Earth Guardian, Climate-Change Mitigation and Earth Restoration laureate. Our heartfelt appreciation, New Zealand! Your benevolence shines in your commitment to others, in the boundless goodness of the Divine.

Brave United Kingdom boy with spina bifida awarded for walking for good cause.

Six-year-old Frank Mills from Bristol, who was born 25 weeks prematurely with spina bifida, received a Prime Minister’s daily Point of Light award for raising significant funds for the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) Charities. The honor recognizes outstanding volunteers helping their communities. Even though he only learned to walk just over 18 months ago, Frank covered 10 meters every day. He was inspired by centenarian, Shining World Compassion Award laureate, and fellow citizen Captain Sir Tom Moore and his NHS fundraising walks. Frank’s courageous daily effort was supported by over 18,000 people and raised more than £300,000. In the award letter to Frank, His Excellency Prime Minister Boris Johnson, a Shining World Leadership for Caring Award laureate, said: “Your daily walks are an amazing fundraising feat…. Well done, and thank you for all you have achieved for our wonderful NHS.” Our enthusiastic applause and congratulations, Frank Mills, on your outstanding achievement. May you be blessed to inspire many others as you continue to share your loving heart with our world, in the comforting care of the Providence. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Touchingly present Frank Mills the Shining World Compassion Award and US$10,000 toward the loving cause. Bravo good boy and may Heaven always smile on you and your family with grace and protection.”

Coming up, Swedish food tech company to offer vegan seafood options. We are going to spend some time to admire the elegant art of Croatian lacemaking, a UNESCO-inscribed Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Swedish startup to develop plant-based seafood.

Food tech company Hooked, founded by Emil Wasteson and Tom Johansson in 2019, is currently developing shredded vegan tuna and salmon that are made from soy protein, seaweed and algae oil. Besides being sustainable and tasty, the plant-based items will also be nutritious. Financial and marketing support are being provided by Germany-headquartered ProVeg International business incubator. The goal of Hooked is to become the leading European plant-based seafood supplier. Way to go, Hooked, and best wishes on your vegan products, which will help to protect our treasured ocean life. In Heaven’s wisdom, may your creations encourage more people to join the vegan club and save our world.

Abused dogs paired with inmates for second chance.

Twenty canines who were rescued from a dog fighting ring in Spencer, Oklahoma, United States have started entering the Guardian Angels training program at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center in the state. Initial care of the unfortunate victims of this illegal and inhumane so-called sport came from Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society in Oklahoma City, which provided the dogs with acutely needed medical care and 24-hour attention in foster homes. When ready, the dogs are trained in socializing and follow simple commands by inmates at the correctional institute, preparing them for adoption into loving homes. One of the trainers, Carol Pierce, said, “Being able to rehabilitate them, it also rehabilitates us.” Wonderful work, Mutt Misfits, Guardian Angels, Mabel Bassett Correctional Center and all human and canine participants! Love heals wounds and allows us to radiate our divine nature, in the blessings from above.

Life isn’t beautiful without happiness and laughter. Enjoy our joke of the day entitled “Monkey Talk.”

Two monkeys are taking a bath and one monkey says: “Ooh-ooh! Aah-aah-aah!”

And the other replies: “Just add a little cold water!”
