Billionaire businessman Elon Musk emphasizes importance of voting at His Excellency Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Pennsylvania, United States.

The tech tycoon stated that this election is the most important of our lifetime. Mr. Musk, owner of social media platform X (formerly Twitter), explained, “You must have free speech in order to have democracy.” Both X and Facebook have been pressured by the Biden-Harris administration to take actions that violated the First Amendment’s fundamental rights to free speech and press. In 2019, the then-Twitter platform was forced to close President Donald Trump’s account, which had over 88.9 million followers. Similarly, Facebook was forced to remove posts regarding Covid vaccines’ possible side effects. “President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America,” said Mr. Musk. He also cautioned that this may be the last fair election, pointing out the state of California’s recently-passed law that mandates voting without an identification requirement, joining 14 other such states.
