In today’s news, Japan sends emergency aid to Cuba after Hurricane Rafael, satellite data shows Earth’s freshwater resources underwent rapid decline in past decade, study from Australia finds working from home increases well-being, British businessman advocates for health warnings to be put on animal-people meat and dairy products, teenager in United States becomes youngest person to pass California state bar exam, Swedish engineers develop technique that triples seaweed protein yields, and endangered Sumatran elephant-person gives birth to calf in Indonesia.

If you are going on a trip in cold weather this season, I have a handy tip. If you have bubble wrap laying around, don’t pop or toss it out because it’s something that you can use to keep warm on chilly nights in your vehicle. It’s an effective insulator that will keep you warmer than a thick blanket. Similar to insulation that contains many little air pockets, bubble wrap has small bubbles of air that can trap warm air inside your car, RV, or camper and return it back into your space while not letting cool air enter. It’s also inexpensive and waterproof. Try it out next time you’re in your vehicle in cold weather!

Looks like we have just the right thing for this moment: the joke of the day. And here it comes! It’s called “Healthier By Forgetting.”

A husband was boasting to his wife about his improved health:

“You know the more absent-minded I’ve become, the healthier I’ve gotten.”

“How is that even possible?”

“Well, I’m so absent-minded that every time I forget if I’ve washed my hands, I wash them again.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Omar in Malaysia
