Echidna-folk evolved around 20 and 50 million years ago. Their ancestors were aquatic-people, however, they adapted to live on land. You can spot them in New Guinea, mainland Australia, as well as Tasmania, King Island, Flinders Island and Kangaroo Island. Their bodies are covered with coarse hair and spines made of keratin.
