Dearest Master, My grandma lived till 101 years old. She always worshipped Quan Yin Bodhisattva. She was a vegetarian mostly and a folk healer helping frightened babies. I was brought up by her, especially in childhood. She was my mentoring teacher and imparted knowledge about spirituality and traditional Chinese cultures. Through my journey seeking truth, I met various figures in Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity. Often, I told Grandma about them, who respected her highly. She didn’t comment on anyone until I got initiation and mentioned Master. Immediately, Grandma said affirmatively, “This is the good Master, follow Her!” She also saw my invisible guards and conversed with them – Master said initiates of the Quan Yin Method all have guards protecting them.
At 92, Grandma fell and was critically ill. My sister and I sincerely prayed to Master and meditated with the Quan Yin Method all night. Miraculously, Grandma recovered completely! The doctors were amazed! We were so grateful to our Master and became diligent disciples thereafter.
One time, I visited Grandma after an international retreat and showed her Master’s photos, one of which Master was in a pink Korean dress with a crown. Seeing the photo, Grandma immediately prostrated to Master’s photo as she did to Quan Yin Bodhisattva. She cried, saying, “Master, You work so hard to save sentient beings, traveling around the world tirelessly! But among Your followers, how many are truly sincere? You must protect and take good care of Yourself!” She told me the crown is called “The Five Buddha Crown” – representing perfect enlightenment!
Later, she learned the Convenient Method and often had visions with her eyes open. Family often saw her bow to the air – she saw Master’s transformation bodies! At 100, Grandma was healthy, clear-minded and doing acupuncture. Unfortunately, she caught pneumonia; accompanying her in the hospital, I was playing Master’s chanting and meditating – I saw Grandma rising to Heaven, young and beautiful; many Heavenly beings were greeting her; I recognized Antarctic Immortal and Three Immortals – Blessings, Fortune and Longevity; and Quan Yin Bodhisattva accompanying Grandma flying up to the bright Heaven. A week later, Grandma departed, her body like white jade. Many neighbors went to her funeral and enjoyed the vegan desserts. Everyone felt so blessed! Mom and I had a retreat. Mom saw Grandma bid goodbye at her Pure Land transitioning place, saying she would go to the higher realm soon after! Mom’s faith in Master became even stronger! Years later, we were SO HAPPY to know that Master was Quan Yin Bodhisattva! Ashley from the United States
